| its possibly his best
I own all his cds now this was the first one i purchased. Fundmentaly Loathsome is my favorite song. I can relate to it somehow. The man is a genious and you can't compare him to anyone. His music wasn't meant for everyone though so if you are closed minded don't bother you will pass judgement on it imediately and hate it. For anyone who has an open mind give it a listen it might just open it more.

| Mechanically good...
I must admit that this is probably the best Manson album although HOLYWOOD Is up there too.. But lyrically and musically you cant take away the emotional credit from Mechanical Animals... It was very well written and delivered... its electronic effect really blends well.... So many great songs but if i must strip it to one it has to be The last day on earth...

| Amazing!
This album is the best Manson album I have ever heard... Actually it could be the best album period. The Last Day on Earth is from another world. That song is perfection. Some other awesome songs on the album are Great Big White World, Mechanical Animals, & User Friendly.

| Just another evil cd of hate music
I bought this cd for my 1 year old thinking it would be a collection of animal sounds made with a computer (I'm trying to teach her what sounds animals make) but it turns out it's just another marylin manson cd of irresponsible hate anthems. I can't believe he actually has fans, this guy kills animals on stage and worships the devil and you know what else because I won't say it (the rib thing, ew!!!!!!!) even after the news and dapartment of defence said he was responsible for columbine!!!!!!! He's sick and discusting and only a phychsopath would buy his music!!!!

| phenomenal.
im a die hard manson fan, but this is my favorite album of his, he took a break from his deathly, heavy, industrial sound, [which i love as well], to make this amazingly written album, the best track on the disk, is probably the last day of earth, but the second best is posthuman. i'll support manson always though, :P
