Anthology album Blackjack also features Bruce Kullick on guitar who later joined forces with Pat Travers. Both albums Superb
Just to keep it short, i fell in love with a good majority of these 20 songs after just a few listens. Yes i knew about Bolton and Kulick and have been a fan of both for many years. In reference to this being Michael's best work, i would have to disagree, if you do not own Michael Bolton (S/T) in 83' or Everybody's Crazy in 85', your collection is not complete, both of these albums are creme de la creme and these 4 albums, BJ 1/ BJ 2/ s.t and E C, embody Michael at his AOR/Hard Rock Best. Just wonderful stuff, you will not be dissapointed after 3 listens. Do not expect to like these songs at first play, they are not singles, but rather heartfelt compositions. decent
i bought the first album when it came out back in 79 or 80. these guys where a decent outfit at the time. good 70s hard rock with a little melody. in my opinion this is where michael bolton should have kept it at. two great records here.
