My Chemical Romance - Things That Make You Go MMMM! Movie Review Average Rating: (2.8 out of 5 stars) dont waste your money this is one of the worst dvds i have ever scene! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! trust me! i am a true my chem fan and this dvd has false information on and the only "exclusive" interveiw with the band is a recording of ray from the life on the murder scene dvd! they show the same pic of the band over and over and play no music or live footage or any footage for that matter of the band! now i kno why it is unauthorized! my chem wouldnt authorize this peice of crap if you paid them a million bucks! eyeball records executives were tricked and edited in their interveiws! it sucks! DO NOT BUY THIS DVD! THIS IS THE WORST REPRESENTATION OF MCR I'VE EVER WITNESSED. IT'S A BUNCH OF BRITISH PEOPLE TRYING TO TELL THIER STORY FOR THEM. THEY AREN'T EVEN ON THE DVD IN PERSON! IF YOU WANT THE BEST DOCUMENTARY OF MCR, BUY THEIR SELF MADE ONE CALLED "LIFE ON THE MURDER SCENE". I CAN'T BELIEVE I WASTED MONEY ON THIS. I LOVE MCR AND THEIR FELLOW FANS SO I WOULDN'T LIE TO YOU. DONT BUY IT!*****

What else did you expect? The graphics were crappy and the lady kept mispronouncing stuff (bwahaha. its always an English team...) and for only having 2 clips of Ray's voice: Did you guys not read the back? They mean not to have MCR on it. Ever thought of...copyright issues? Hmmmmmmmm?
Anywho, this is UNAUTHORIZED-- I didn't expect much from it, and in turn I didn't get much from it, so I can't say I'm dissappointed.
It was a birthday gift to me anyway xD
One star because that's the lowest rating one can give it and a second one because I found it informative (somewhat) x]

| | My Chemical Romance Black Parade CD (2006) Parental Advisory; Limited Edition
My Chemical Romance - Things That Make You Go MMMM! film
$38.29 Deluxe Edition
My Chemical Romance: Gerard Way (vocals); Frank Iero, Ray Toro (guitar); Mikey Way (bass guitar); Bob Bryar (drums). Additional personnel: Cheech Lero, Jamie Muhoberac, Liza Minnelli, Rob Cavallo. On this ambitious 2006 outing, My Chemical Romance boldly follows in the footsteps of Green Day, both in working with producer Rob Cavallo and in taking a conceptual route (a la AMERICAN IDIOT). The result is an impressive collection of songs that finds the goth-leaning New Jersey punk-pop group transforming itself into the title's "Black Parade," a darkly clad marching band that relates the woeful tale of "the Patient," as portrayed by frontman Gerard Way (who bleached his hair blond to convey the character's sickness). In addition to bringing--believe it or not--the equally dramatic and eye-liner-loving Liza Minelli on board for a guest appearance, My Chemical Romance proves its theatrical mettle by moving from the melancholy grandeur of "Welcome to the Black Parade," which bears an undeniable Queen influence, to "Cancer," an emotive piano-driven ballad. Lifted by its lush, inventive arrangements and Way's dynamic vocal performances, THE BLACK PARADE effectively stakes its claim as the SGT. PEPPER'S of the brooding Myspace set, and secures My Chemical Romance's shadowy space in rock history. At the heart of My Chemical Romance lore is the story of lead singer/songwriter/mouthpiece Gerard Way, an animator who decided to abandon ...

| | Benny More - Hoy Como Ayer DVD (2004)
My Chemical Romance - Things That Make You Go MMMM! video
$7.15 Benny More epitomized the big-band Afro-Cuban sound of the 1950s, and became a national icon with his broad range of material and his knack for catchy, pop-influenced songs that were nonetheless entirely original. He could capture the wistful nostalgia of lost love with aplomb in his romantic boleros, while his mambos and rumbas remain irresistibly danceable. The manifestation of a rags-to-riches triumph, More's humble beginnings as a farmer palpably informed his later music in its complexity, emotion, and the dynamic combination of Afro-Cuban music with indigenous Cuban music of Spanish origin known as "guajiro music." This insightful documentary explores the life and legend of Benny More, tracing his path from the farm to his debut in the Matamoros group, and continuing to his exile in Mexico, subsequent return to Cuba, and tragic early death in Havana. Vibrant concert footage features More performing many of his most-loved tunes, including: "Oh Vida," "Santa Isabel De Las Lajas," Como Fue," "Batanga No. 2," "Que Te Hace Pensar," "Hoy Como Ayer," "Mata Siguaraya," Te Quedaras, "Preferi Perderte," "Qu Bueno Baila Usted," "La Vida Es Un Sueno," and "Mexicanita Veracruzana," among others.
