DJ Quik Greatest Hits: Live At The House Of Blues CD

Compton native DJ Quik was part of the West Coast gangsta heyday of the early 1990s, and his '91 debut QUIK IS THE NAME was a crucial contribution to the scene. Quik became a notable producer in the early 2000s, and '06's GREATEST HITS: LIVE AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES shows all aspects of the artist's talents. The set includes old-school Quik classics ("Tonight," "Born and Raised in Compton") alongside later material, showcasing the DJ/MC's facility with arrangements as well as his skills on the mic. Appearances by Chingy, Nate Dogg, B-Real, and a 12-piece band add icing to the cake.
