Another Mahler revelation
This performance of the Mahler 7th is an a par with the 9th and the 2nd released recently. The new insights revealed by Abbado and the fabulous playing by the Lucerne band are breathtaking. While Bernstein gets 3* for effort, this gets the 5* for greatness.
