Pamela Juelharte was born in a small town in western Montana. Mining, logging, farming and ranching were the mainstays of the region, and their influence is heard throughout her music. Growing up in Montana, she enjoyed the calm serenity of the outdoors. Family was important, and she was fortunate enough to have a loving, hard working father supporting her older sister, younger brother, and her so their mother could stay home. From a very young age music was an intrinsic part of who she was. Her parents bought her first guitar at a pawn shop, and she loved it. She always knew that creating music was her life’s calling. “I had a lot of other interests that seemed more practical, but music was all I ever really wanted to do.” After high school she played in a couple cover bands, but soon discovered her talent for songwriting.Before she could cultivate her songwriting abilities, Pamela moved to North Carolina with a friend. She wanted to see what the world was like beyond Montana. She enjoyed her brief episode with independence, but her joy was short-lived. Soon after her arrival to North Carolina, her grandfather passed away. She always regretted not being there to say goodbye. After a year, she moved back ...
