5 stars The Zatoichi TV series is a hit
Pleasurable viewing. Some plots may be similar to the movie series. Character development is minized in the TV series. Action is good although special effects don't come up to the level of the movies series. There is a good mix of humor. Guest stars are a welcome addition of character color and quality.
