Processor album
$11.05 Daytona Beach metalheads the Autumn Offering may have worked hard to establish their own sound on their debut, Revelations of the Unsung, originally issued in 2003 and re-released as an enhanced disc by Victory in 2006. The way they've done it is to embrace the music of their heroes, from Guns N' Roses to Slayer, Metallica and early Iron Maiden to Emperor and other black metal acts -- musically, not lyrically. If anything, the lyrics these Southerners spout have more in common with political punk rock than anything else; a comment they won't take as a compliment. Whatever. These guys can play everything. Check out the contrast of styles in "The Yearning" alone, from driving thrash metal to melodic solos drenched in early-'90s Brit metal. It's flow that counts when people play as widely divergent styles as this. And Autumn Offering have it, each track seamlessly blasts into the next: check out the way the aforementioned flows stylistically into "Ghost," which even has traces of Thin Lizzy in its bridge riff! The stomp, snarl, and roar of "One Last Thrill" is the rocking-est thing on the set and just screams from start to finish. Vocally, fans of screamed, low-end guttural wailing will dig the proceedings, but on this track, it's almost a chant, As for nu-metal, these young cats have it down. They know how to ...

Processor CD music
$17.95 This special CD/DVD set includes previously unreleased music, making of the album, 5.1 mix of the entire album, and 1 previously unreleased director's cut video.
New label, new band member, same brilliant Opeth. The most obvious change from their previous two releases, DELIVERANCE (2002) and DAMNATION (2003), is the permanent addition of previous touring keyboard player Per Wiberg. His organ work, specifically, creates new textures only hinted at on previous releases. While many of Opeth's peers have opted to phase out their death-metal ...
| | Metallica Kill'Em All Vinyl LP (1983)
Processor music CDs
$16.25 Occasionally one album can be pinpointed as the turning point in a musical genre. KILL 'EM ALL is one such album and, boy, did the heavy metal genre need a transfusion of new blood. Herein trad metal was stripped of its late-70s pomposity and reduced to its base element of brutal sonic force. The rhythm section of Burton and Ulrich do a masterful job, as does rhythm guitar ace and vocalist James Hetfield, on a set that owes a debt to punk as much as to Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. The phantasmagorical allusions are still there in the lyrics, ...

$15.35 Limited two CD edition of the Swedish Metal band's 2008 album housed in a box and including a guitar pick with printed band logo, a double sided poster, a sticker and a bonus CD containing four tracks: 'Seize The Day', 'Narcotic', 'Versus' and 'Devolve'. It all started in July 1996 with the demise of seminal Swedish melodic death metal band, At The Gates. At this time, guitarist Patrik Jensen (ex-Seance) was looking for members to start a new project. At The Gates drummer Adrian Erlandsson, a good friend of Jensen's, saw the opportunity and seized it. Jensen and Adrian's first rehearsal took place on the 28th of July in ATG“s old rehearsal place, where Jensen and Adrian jammed out on some of Jensen“s material as ...
| | Metallica ... And Justice For All Vinyl LP (1988)
Processor album
$20.19 Following the tragic death of bassist Cliff Burton, Metallica regrouped with Flotsam & Jetsam bassist Jason Newsted to record this ambitious double album. Metallica made their reputation playing complex music at superhuman speed, and when James Hetfield's lyrics caught up with his compositional skills, the band became a force to be reckoned with. Everything came together on 1986's MASTER OF PUPPETS, and JUSTICE picks up where PUPPETS left off.
Utilizing intricate yet crunching riffs, layered guitar melodies and intelligent lyrics, Metallica forged an identity as the leader of '80s metal. Hetfield's lyrics are often quite dark, touching on injustice (the title song), insanity ("The Frayed Ends Of Sanity") ...
