| | Marguerite Piazza Sings Gospel CD Piazza, Marguerite CDS
Born and raised in the Deep South, Diva Marguerite Piazza learned early on to appreciate the beauty and majesty of Gospel music. Her own deep-rooted faith has supported her through many crises--two bouts with cancer, the death of a child, the deaths of two successive loving husbands--yet nothing could shake her faith and belief in God, His Son, and the message of Divine Love, all of which are the essence of Gospel music. Originally produced as a limited edition cassette release titled SONGS OF HOPE, these 14 classic traditional gospel hymns, each specially arranged and performed by Marguerite Piazza, have been re-mastered in CD form for your listening pleasure. For yougsters discovering Gospel music for the first time, or mature listeners who grew up listening to and singing these deeply spiritual songs, a wonderful listening experience awaits within. REVIEW:Gospel can be sung in many ways, but Marguerite Piazza delivers her rendition of several gospel songs with style and grace. Â Ms. Piazza sings many favorites, and the melodies are beautifully done. Â She also adds some of her life experiences at the beginning of the songs. Â This personal touch works nicely. Â Also very entertaining is the accompaniment of piano and organ. Â These talented musicians blend nicely with Marguerite's strong voice. Â The CD is a nice treat for listeners wishing to hear a variety of Christian songs. Â Beverly C. HookerM. | | Victory At Sea CD (1992)
Marguerite Piazza Sings Gospel
$9.99 The 1952 NBC series Victory at Sea was one of the earliest network documentary series to capture the public's imagination in a serious way, and one of the more enduring offshoots was the music by Richard Rodgers, which was recorded by RCA-Victor in what ultimately became a series of four LPs. Rodgers was chosen by series producer Henry Salamon based on his being the "leading American composer of his day," a somewhat exalted (though understandable) judgement for a man who was most closely associated with the Broadway stage and Hollywood. The albums were popular, ...

Marguerite Piazza Sings Gospel
$17.69 String quartets like Quartet San Francisco that play jazz compositions are challenging to label stylistically, as they are often putting their own stamp on the music, even if things seem tightly arranged. This CD focuses mostly on the works of jazz pianist/composer Dave Brubeck, including five of the seven songs from his best-selling ...

| | Bryant Barnett I'm New CD (2006)
Marguerite Piazza Sings Gospel
$15.19 He was born in Livingston, New Jersey on February 8, 1978 to Lee and Lorraine Barnett. A life long resident of South Orange, New Jersey, he was educated in the public schools of that town. As a child growing up, Bryant was drawn to music. He would always be heard singing around the house and seen sitting with his ear to the speaker of his parent's old 8-track and record player stereo. Bryant was first introduced to singing by his mother who in the late 70's and through out the 80's headed a group called 'Charity'. This gospel group of women could be found singing in the local churches and shelters in New Jersey. Attending these concerts was a family event and to Bryant, events that he always looked forward to. He started singing first in his family's home Bible studies; then in the church and school choirs. Bryant attended school in the South Orange/Maplewood school district of New Jersey. He was very active in all school choirs from elementary to 11th grade. His most influential music teacher was Mrs. Sandra Harris-Barnhart. Mrs. Barnhart taught Bryant music up until his freshman year in high school. Bryant's passion for singing lead him to join the Columbia High School concert choir his freshman year. At first, learning the classical style and all the fundamentals of vocal production was not at all important to Bryant. However, when he noticed the change in how he sounded and the expansion of his range, he began to skip lunch period to be in both sessions of the choir class. Bryant also headed the Columbia High School Gospel choir for two years. High school caused Bryant's love for singing to grow deeper and his appreciation for classical and other types of music to broaden.Through out his high school and college years, 'Bebe', as he is known by most, honed his gift of singing and building harmonies. Recently, Bebe's passion for singing was shifted to acting and spoken-word poetry. With these three talents combined, one is sure to enjoy the heart felt performance of this up and coming young artist. His stage presence is that of a veteran in the music industry. 'Bebe' allows you to believe that he's been at this for years. His performance will grab the hearts of many as he sings with such compassion; such conviction; but most of all, a great anointing. This versatile vocalist has performed with such notable greats as Lorraine Stancil, Nancey Jackson, Shirley Caesar, Vicki Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Tremaine Hawkins, In-A-Way and most recently; Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointed. In April of 2003, he was voted the first New Jersey Nets', New Jersey Idol; a competition sponsored by the New Jersey Net's and held at the Meadowlands ...
