In 2001, Mel was one of the first performers at the now historic EXIT Noise Summer Fest, in Novi Sad, Serbia, playing to a crowd of twenty five thousand as part of a slate of performers including: Anastasia, Finley Quaye, Van Gogh, Roni Sise, Max Romeo, Kosheen, Toni Allen, 4Hero and Dennise Alcopone. More recently Mel has been invited to perform for several years running in the Caribbean, including venues in Bermuda, Jamaica, and St. Lucia, and in Europe. In September 2006 Mel was invited to produce his first music video in St Lucia, in collaboration with director and producer Chris Wagstaff of Creative Junction (St. Lucia) Ltd. This project is scheduled for completion in December 2006.
