Daniel LaBrash resides in the very scenic Hockley Valley area in Ontario where he is well known as a composer, free-lance guitarist and guitar teacher. Daniel's writing reflects his delight and appreciation of his lush surroundings. The nearby meadow and forests have inspired the music for "Nature's Play". Susan Piltch lives in Toronto where she freelances as a flutist and pianist, and contracts her own ensembles for background music engagements. Her first composition "Out of the Shadows" was written for this CD with Daniel and was inspired by a comment made to her about coming "out of the shadows and into the spotlight". The piece is written for a 7-flute choir, all played by Susan on the recording. In 1994, Daniel LaBrash and Susan Piltch recorded their first CD entitled "The Moon and Flowers", a collection of original compositions, both reflective and playful, performed on classical guitar, flute and piano. Available on CD Baby. In 2009, Susan Piltch released her first solo CD "Out of the Shadows", a mix of classical, contemporary and original compositions performed on flute and piano.
