This band began with three friends who got back together after nearly twenty years (Soni Romans and Jimmy Garrison went to the Senior Prom together in the Seventies!) to create original music. David Quintana has been playing everything from Heavy Metal to Country. Jimmy has been keeping up with his skiing in Colorado and his guitar at the same time while Soni has been playing with bands around the United States and is now a nurse. For a year now they have been playing, having fun and creating songs that evoke memories for all. When they recently made a trip to the local "floating" bar to listen to Shake Russell and Dana Cooper (local Texas artists), the song "Clear Lake Afternoon" was developed. Friends in the Texas town of Leakey welcomed this unknown band with welcome arms and plenty of food and inspired "Hill Country Night." Once Soni learned to fish and had the fishing fever really bad; many trips were made to local Galveston about which a song eventually was written. Each and every song on this album results from memories they all have shared (be they good or bad!) and we hope you can enjoy them as well. Due to several circumstances I found myself playing and recoding my guitar into the laptop surrounded by tubes in my nose and arm.
