From composer, musician, producer Frederick R MatzenA relaxation CD for the modern era. Trilennium. This new age music is inspired by our time, our society, our world. Unlike the cookie cutter piano music you hear for budget pricing in the discount outlets, this music has its own personality and influences. An incredible blend of real world instruments (emphasis on WORLD) and modern electronic synthesis, it captures the essence of our technologically oriented society. Our world where retro is modernized and patronized, our world where fast-paced is normal and passive is "hick". This is the music that fits into your hectic world and takes away the idiocy of the commute, the rush of meetings, the race to succeed. The ever-changing moods and atmospheres create a serenity for your stress filled mind. This isn't Yanni. This music is different and should be experienced. Over 60 minutes (9 tracks) of music influenced by the world. It is TRULY relaxing and should NOT be heard when operating machinery or during other potentially dangerous acts. Frederick is a musician of many genres and much experience. He has adopted the Open Ear philosophy of music: listen to EVERYTHING the world has to offer and let it influence and inspire you. Not just music but sounds of the Earth and nature can be inspiring and even musical. Every sound has its place on our planet and in our lives and he is willing to absorb it all and learn from it. In his many projects you may hear everything from an African Djembe to an Ibanez electric guitar. Every sound is carefully placed to be part of a larger soundscape. Even if you don't listen to this music, take a moment and listen to your world and perhaps hear what you have been missing. Trilennium Songs | 1. | Part 1 |

| | David Nevue Last Waking Moment CD (1997)
Trilennium songs
$12.09 About the CD...'The Last Waking Moment' is a thematic work based on a lucid dream David's wife experienced several years ago. The dream, an intense vision of a face to face meeting with Christ, had a profound effect on his wife Julie as well as David himself. The music on The Last Waking Moment follows the dream journey though the "Shadowlands" to "The Gathering Fields".Comments from Fans..."We Just received "The Last Waking Moment" yesterday. My wife likes it so much that she now wants to go out and buy a CD player for the car!!! Thanks a LOT! I detect a touch of George Winston in your music (that's a GOOD thing), but for the most part, it is fresh and unique -- VERY easy to listen to!!! From now on, when I'm working on spreadsheets and junk at work, I'll be listening to your music instead of Vivaldi." - Tom & Bonnie"I take care of a 9 month-old baby, who just went through open heart surgery. I tried this CD with her last night. What a difference in her fussiness. She calmed down from a kicking, screaming fit within 5 minutes of commencement of playing this CD. This is wonderful!" - Kal About the Artist...With a piano style somewhere between Chopin and George Winston, David Nevue brings melody and heart back to instrumental music. Perhaps Heartsong Review said it best when they described his music as "hauntingly romantic." David's music introduces us to a wilderness of musical ideas which the listener becomes anxious to explore. Interestingly enough, if you ask David about his musical background he might surprise you. He comes not from a background of polished piano music, but grew up a typical 1980's teenager strongly under the influences of such progressive rock artists as Rush, Pink Floyd, and Kansas. David pursued rock music as a career throughout his college years, playing keyboards for a number of garage bands. It wasn't until David's college roommate introduced him to the piano music of George Winston that he began to consider a career as a pianist. "Prior to hearing George Winston, my idea of 'solo piano' went no further than classical music, a form a music I've never felt much connection with. Winston's impressionistic style was at that time unlike any music I had ever heard. My roommate played Winston's music all the time, and it just sort of seeped in. As a result, I found myself playing around with a few melodies at the piano and I just never stopped." In 1992 David released his ...
