| | Jack Neilson Here I Go Again CD Jack Neilson Discography of CDs
Feeling very lucky to be a part of the tour, Jack just returned from Arlo Guthrie and Friends "City of New Orleans" Tour. Arlo and family set up these dates to raise money for Katrina victims. With shows beginning in Chicago, and ending with a sold out show in New Orleans, Jack opended for the likes of Arlo Guthrie w/Gordon Titcomb and band, Ramblin Jack Elliot, Willie Nelson, The Burns Sisters,Ramsey Midwood,Abe Guthrie, Annie and Cathy Guthrie,Exavier and a set with Annie Guthrie and Amy Nelson. At the first couple of shows, Cyrille Neville and his wife also performed some New Orleans funk in the house. It was like "walkin in a dream" for Jack the entire time and Amtrak's Jerome made sure they all made it back home safely on the Train that was Bound for Glory....... Born and raised in New Orleans. Started a coffeehouse in the eighties in New Mexico. Many songwriters came through for songwriter's night but Jack was too busy raising a daughter and roasting coffee. Twenty years go by and finally this debut CD is released because an old friend believed in an old friend and stuck it out for a couple of years of love and labor. Michael Paz, a local producer and musician himself, was the faithful source and highschool friend that made this music possible. Musicians in New Orleans tend to help out others easily in this little town. Included on this CD were the likes of David Torkanowsky, Johnny Vidocavich, Beth Patterson,Dave Easely,Jay Dronge,Leslie Smith, and Kevin Aucoin. They all added their gifts to Jack's solo debut CD and he is grateful to them all......___

$15.19 Aesop For All AgesNAPPA 2004 GOLD Winner! (National Parenting Publications)WINNER OF The 2003 SILVER PARENT'S CHOICE AWARD!!!BEST CHILDREN'S ALBUM 2003, 2nd runner up, Just Plain Folks AESOP for all ages is an engaging collection of songs based on the familiar fables of Aesop, such as The Tortoise and the Hare, The Country Mouse and the City Mouse and The Goose and the Golden Eggs. Conceived, co-written (with her father, lyricist H. C. Nachtrieb) and performed by Bay Area musician and teacher Anne Nachtrieb Zesiger, Aesop For All Ages brings the sturdy fables to life, vividly illustrating the lessons they contain. Sharp songwriting, deft musicianship and a distinctly contemporary feel allow this album to stand on its own merits, elevating it far above the level of bland sing-a-longs that form the bulk of "children's" records. The result is rewarding listening for anyone, regardless of age. In fact, it is intended FOR all ages.AESOP for all ages moves from hauntingly beautiful ballads to sprightly mid-tempo folk-rockers to funky, percolating tracks that wouldn't sound out of place on a Bonnie Raitt album. Interesting textures abound throughout, from ethereal keyboard washes to twangy guitar hooks. But the centerpiece of the album in undoubtedly Zesiger's warm, accessible ...

The new studio included a new computer, new multi-track sound card, and upgraded versions of their core recording software including N-Track Studio, Cool Edit Pro, and FL Studio. The group also spent much of 2002 promoting Bridges To Burn on the internet, where their music was downloaded in over a dozen countries. The disc contains 13 newly recorded songs and 4 previously unreleased tracks recorded years earlier. The 4 previously unreleased tracks were taken from a series of recording sessions in 1997 at Metropolis Studios in Villa Park, Illinois. Shortly after those sessions, the recording studio disappeared along with the original 24-track master tapes. The tracks briefly surfaced on the internet a few years later, but quickly disappeared along with the demise of mp3 . The band had retained a stereo mixdown of the tracks and recently digitally remastered them to include in this new release. Moberly ...
