INTRODUCTIONAlmost everyone has to undergo a lot of temptations and obstacles in order to become who they want to be. This story is not different for these two new upcoming Artists... MUMMBLES and BANG!!! MUMMBLES When asked why this 19 year old rapper from Far Rock-away, Queens choose the name Mummbles, his answer was, "when I was younger I always mumbled whenever my mom yelled at me and ever since then she signed my Christmas presents to Mummbles. Sh*t I guess it just stuck." This young rappers behavior came from a life of living in the streets of Far Rockaway where he grew up. There were many temptations he had to over come to keep his head straight and focused. He started rapping at the age of nine. Being surrounded by rappers and free stylists helped him begin this. Little by little he would slowly write down lyrics and rhymes which he would show to his friends in the streets the next day. This was the same age he met his best friend and now partner Bang. "Bang is a character, I enjoy working with him. He is just such a character." 2 years ago this "character" introduced him to Prestige, CEO of Arsen Entertainment, who is now helping them work their way to success. So to all you striving rappers, young and old, remember this, Mummbles says, "I made this my life, my inspiration, therefore y'all need to stay focused and do what y'all gotta do." BANG Ex-boxer, Ronald Smith, was later on named Bang in the streets. "It's just a street named given to me by my peoples." This 20 year old male from Far Rock-Away Queens grew up around rappers but it wasn't until 3 years ago that he started rapping. "It just seemed to come to me; I guess y'all can call it a natural talent." Through a mutual friend he was introduced to Prestige, CEO of Arsen Entertainment, who is now helping him get things started. "I enjoy working with Prestige he is cool." Couple of months later he introduced his childhood friend Mummbles to Prestige. "Mummbles is my boy, we work so well together, our sh*t just flows." If I had a choice of any rapper I would like to work with besides Mummbles I would probably say Kanye West. Success motivates this young rapper, his advice to all you rappers out there is, "Just look for your motivation and keep rapping, don't let nobody hold you back!"
