Let me repeat that: they are a Rock-And-Goddamn-Take-It-Or-Leave-It- Roll band, the likes of which New York City, and maybe even the western world, hasn't seen for a long, long time (dare I say since..... The Clash? Oooo music fans, bear with me, you haven't seen these guys live yet!). In the same sense that critics and fans used to claim that, in their day, The Clash was the "only band that mattered," I'd submit that Blue Sparks are one of the only bands that matter in NYC right now: they are one of the only bands in NYC that can really rock.
