You can hear her songs played in the NBA, on Cassidy & Raekwon's Dj Thoro and Dj Big Mike Hosted C2C Def Jam Shadyville mixtapes. She has even been heard in arenas in Holland and on the Street Dreams tour singing live with M.O.P. fam !Born Jennifer Lee Wilcox in Ithaca, New York, she got her musical ear playing Suzuki violin starting at age 3, and went on to study singing & acting and become a successful performing recording artist. she's a voice chronicling the socio-emotional struggles of being an american girl. She has enjoyed worldwide shows for audiences of up to 10,000 fans, but it was in Chicago audiences watched the white chick do her thing, including handling her business of registering, settling, and agreeing on dropping her LEVI trademark in a contract with LEVI's Strauss & Company via Orum & Roth.* Commercial vocal appearances include demos for Coke, Dentyne Ice, Sears Canada, AT&T and Kohl's. In New York her home state, she worked at the World Trade Center & needless to say lost her job and many friends. Listen and you will hear the impact of all this in her lyrics. LEVI studies the SLS voice technique with teacher & opera star Badiene Magaziner, and has had demo deals with Epic/550 and lava/Atlantic records. Now as an independent artist, her songs play on XMsatellite radio and several other webcasts and radio stations including mixtapes from Djs Kansas to South Africa. In 2004 LEVI recorded, produced & released her first indie cd 'another jennifer' and her 2nd cd 'LEVI 101' was out in 2005.
