HOT RODThis is the first ever MacIntosh/ g5, GASHOUSE DAVE instrumental record! I look at this now and it makes perfect sense/abundantly clear to me! I went through two record labels, and a super major Network to get to where this IS -does this merit explanation? I have several CD's on the auction block, but I struggled trying to cross pollinate into media. I had a few songs placed on television shows, (CBS/ Survivor, Hack, Charlie Grace) and sometimes they even called me for feature work/another track here and there for an upcoming episode. At some point they sent a 'carrier' w/ the publishing release to my door, as it was going in the sound bed for a show that was airing in 24 hours! (Yikes). Then as quickly as it came, things changed, the show finished as a series, edit bay pals moved on, and my solid producer mentor went to another network, (WB). I began picking up my ego, brushed off my tools and got some SAG (acting) work- Spiderman III, Smoking Aces, Cold case files, etc. My blues Performance/gigs domestically were down to B.B. King's, Jax and The Baked Potato. Terra Nova records closed its doors. Dixiefrog said; "no way to instrumentals, or download wave files." I went back to EVJ and made a formal CD for my Euro tour. But I began buying BAR CODES and logging stuff withY-tunes, and CD Baby. TO ME the MINDSET/crossover was inevitable. I bought flashdrives. I began loop BFD transfers and PROTOOLS files. It SURE ENUF brought a stepchild! A pro 3 camera shoot/DVD, and the powerful NOIRETOWN. The influences of THIS mother/child HOT ROD. I still feel that there is a 'visual' that accompanies my stuff.>different from my formal bookwriting. (AMAZON Books), and not like a video, or a formal network show where my track suggests/or compliments the scene/ or something essential to the mood. The band interprets this stuff from time-to-time in the 1st set. I have a project called Big L.A. Blues, and another called; Rare & Raw which is an archive of old blues ADATS with horns and harmonica. This music is a testimony to where I am right now. This is important because I am DIGGING the world of total digital/ construction and distribution. I am NOT looking for a new label, nor the hardcopy distribution. Get the artwork from the website. Just load it up and go.I was the Judge in the Jay-Z MTV video; "Innocent 'till proven guilty" (?) I am so grateful to get these gigs! Hollywood. Cinderella. $10.49 Another year, another Gary Moore blues-rock album nearly interchangeable with the last. That's no problem for fans or even newcomers, because despite the surface similarities between releases, Moore never seems to be going through the motions for the sake of further bulking up his already substantial catalog. His tough guitar lines remain biting yet classy, and his underappreciated ...

Hot Rod album
$16.45 Vaden was born in the hills of North Louisiana, near the Ouachita River. His family was poor in wealth, but rich in love, and had a special bond with country music, that always had a special place in home lives as well as social gathering. Vaden's Dad, along with three brothers and one sister, played and sang the songs that touched their hearts, and could relate to in their lives. Country music seemed to always be a cure for the blues and help make the hardships of life be a little more tolerable. At an early age, Vaden became insured in writing songs. Though he didn't have much to write about, he spent hours writing poems, then trying to find a tune that would fit. It was a long ways from being professional, but to Vaden at the time was music to his ears. Soon, Vaden's life would make a sharp turn, he stepped into the real world, to make it on his own. Being of a restless nature and not much education, he took jobs on cross country pipelines, and later cross country trucking that would take him all over the United ...

Glad I stumbled on to it....a bonus to my search for Eric Wainaina !" Tony Carnes, CHRISTIANITY TODAY________________________________________________________After a 16 year absence from the Music 'scene'...(long Hot&ColdRunningYears story)...THIS! is the Band that coalesced around recording where I left off after 'Hot & Cold Running Years' (the CD that featured a cut from 'Live @ the Dive-'81' w/Stuart Hamm on bass & Bruce Arnold on guitar, &, Manny Williams on piano from a 'Live' Jazz session in Watertown,1984, &, is being sold on Amazon as a collectible & no, I will not see any of the $80. it is going for). These are amazing Musicians who could pull off anything in any situation! & I am very grateful for the time I was allowed to be w/ them. I remain, A'Esquecida************************ REVIEW **********************The Legend of Chico Shanghai & Other True & Tawdry Tales-Andrew Fortin, Independent WriterThis band's debut album is groovy, soulful, poetic, enchanting and anything but unoriginal. Put Jazz, R&B, Blues, African percussion, Techno, and World music in blender and push the start button. After 30 seconds, turn it off, pour it into a glass and take a sip. The resulting taste is the epitome of Weather Outpost 12. This Boston based ensemble's seventeen-track debut album, "The Legend of Chico Shanghai and Other True and Tawdry Tales," quenches the musical palate with harmonious melodies and ...

$17.69 'They made the whole place swing'Tremors celebrate 16 years togetherby Susan Anderson for the Casper Journal "When The Tremors from Casper, Wyoming entered the stage they made the whole place swing," said one reviewer of the band's appearance last month at Mettmann Bluesweek in Germany. Cory McDaniel, Dale Bohren, and Paul Lange are back -- playing to a hometown audience on Friday, April 26, with a special performance that's part vaudeville, part celebration of their 16-year history together. "An ARTCORE performance should be something more," says bassist Dale Bohren, "and this is about the art itself, the steps we've gone through to become who we are." The band started in the '80s with the three Casper natives. Then through the next 10 years, they tried adding a drummer, a horn section, a keyboard player and many guest singers at various times. "About three years ago, we decided we were best just as ourselves, as the trio," says Bohren, "and that's when our music began ...
