At just 18 years of age, she recorded her debut album, "this is who i am..." while juggling her college searches and entrance exams. Jackie's song-writing began when she was very young. Her abilities shine throughout this work with her writing 7 and co-writing 3 of the songs on this album. In addition to her deep lyrics, people enjoy the sound of her soulful voice. With a four-octave range, she moves easily from hip hop to R&B; from jazz to soul. Her songs are a part of her, each one sending a special and unique message to those who choose to listen. Each song on this album captures a unique perspective of Jackie Cole and brings the listener a pleasant variety of soulful music to enjoy. Jackie's goal is to be a positive role model with the ability to truly affect someone with her lyrics. The title track, "this is who i am..." is all about discovering the "real you" and not paying attention to what anyone else thinks.
