| | MADRON Beginning CD MADRON Discography of CDs
Madron...was an accident, with the demise of my last band,I didn't want to get into another one.I purchased a 4-Track digital recorder and started writing, and loved it.I decided to buy an 8 track studio in a box and that was it.Madron was born.Everything you hear(apart from the additional production)was recorded with a Boss studio in a box.All recorded in my front room and on a shoe string budget. My friend added the vocals and has done a fantastic job.It was then all burn't down onto WAV files and taken to my best friend's studio at Meadow Music Media. He brought the songs to life and made a dream come true and added additional production...he done a brilliant job...don't you agree.....Now make my dream really come true...and if you listen and it touches your soul...I suggest you need to buy it and enjoy it cause it will stick in your brain.MADRON(2004)Jan 2006Madron will be touring this year and we have had very good good reviews in the UK music press and from the record industry. Beginning album
$11.18 With Adam Lambert, American Idol finally got a finalist who was completely, utterly contemporary, aware of what's hip in music and culture and aware of how music is made and consumed in 2009, never seeming to try to follow fads or set trends, just embodying the time. Mercifully, he came in second to Kris Allen, for if he came in first he may have had to tame his self-styled glamazon ways. A second place finish allowed Lambert to come out of the closet and indulge in his penchant for theater on his debut, For Your Entertainment -- which isn't quite the same thing as camp, for if Adam Lambert is anything, he's earnest about his dress-up, never winking at the audience because he doesn't think there's much funny about his glitter and mascara: that's just what pop stars are supposed to do. He's learned that by listening to his stacks of Queen and Bowie records, from watching old MTV videos on YouTube, from living in a present that always ...

| | Manny Oquendo Ahora CD (1999)
Beginning music CDs
$12.49 Although Ahora was recorded in 1993, Milestone/Fantasy didn't release this excellent CD until 1999. While Manny Oquendo & Libre's other '90s releases, Mejor que Nunca and On the Move, contain both salsa and Latin jazz, Ahora offers no instrumentals and no outright Latin jazz. However, it does unite Libre with some guest jazz musicians (including trombonist Steve Turre and vibist Joe Locke) and isn't without jazz elements. For this album, Oquendo wrote three songs: "Concierto de Oquendo" (an exuberant, 11-minute descarga or Latin jam), the exuberant "El Son" and the anti-drug commentary, "Drogas Fatal." Equally strong are the songs that Oquendo didn't write, which include "Asia Minor" (a tribute to the great Machito/Mario Bauza team) and Pedro Flores' gorgeous bolero, ...
| | Suicide Way Of Life CDs (1988)
Beginning songs
$13.49 The unwitting godfathers of industrial noise-squall return after a long absence to reclaim their throne on A Way of Life. Produced by Ric Ocasek, Suicide's Alan Vega and Martin Rev pick up exactly where they left off, crafting beautifully ominous drone-rock founded on pulsing sequences, dramatic vocals, and dense atmospherics. ~ Jason Ankeny
Following the double-disc reissues of Suicide's first two albums, Mute continued to slowly roll through the remainder of the duo's career. A Way of Life, produced by the Cars' Ric Ocasek and originally released in 1988 on Wax Trax!, undergoes remastering treatment from Martin Rev, and a second disc adds a recording of a London performance from December 1987. This release, along with the similarly treated reissue of 1992's Why Be Blue? (the lesser of the two), should hopefully detract ...

| | Tyrone Cotton CD (2006)
Beginning album
$13.15 Singer, Songwriter, guitarist Samuel Tyrone Cotton grew up in Louisville Kentucky. His Grandfatherâs rough, beautifully arrestingsinging grabbed the young Tyroneâs full attention. His grandfather was a baptist preacher. He sang with a near illegal charm. Hecast a spell. There was always music around. Cottonâs mother loved gospel and R&B, and his fi rst concert experience was BBKing, who thrilled and captivated the youngster with his playing and his tale weaving.Cotton took up the guitar at 13, and it became the central focus of his life. By 15 he was playing in garage bands. He began torealize that the music within him was making him feel emotions that he could share and communicate with others. Music becamehis vehicle of expression.Cotton has moved audiences in every size venue from New York University to the Kyoto International Folk Festival in Japan, where he has toured four times. After opening for Rahn Burton, former pianist for jazz legend Rasahn Roland Kirk, Burton saidâTyrone can play his music anywhere in the world. If it were not true I would not say it.âAfter a Louisville performance, Beat-legend Lawrence Ferlinghetti approached Cotton to tell him, âYouâre the real thing.â HistorianDouglas Brinkley was blown away by Cottonâs performance at an INSOMNIACATHON music and poetry Festival. And legendarycomposer, musician, author David Amram, who has heard Cotton several times, said in his usual animated manner,â Heâs amazing!âCottonâs style, in part, was born while studying classical guitar in college. Also around this time he began playing blues and folkblues in coffee shops and small venues, mixing blues with classical. He employed classical techniques such as a right hand classicalfi ...
