The Walking began in 2002 with one solo member, Arman Augusto. Initially an idea for a solo recording project, it eventually formed into the five piece outfit they are today (along with Jason Sonnabaum, Christian Motos, ila, and Brian P. Rickard). These artists are always into experimenting with new sounds and styles to add to their music. Each member is also involved in other projects as well, film soundtracks and scores, etc. Their album Thoughts and Intangibles was released on Halloween 2002 and can be found in independent record stores throughout their hometown of San Diego, CA. The album consists of 14 tracks, features some of the talents of other San Diego local musicians, and is intended to tell you different stories with each listen. Their second release The Walking (live), The Story of The Walking Wounded was released in early September 2003. It is a recorded live performance that shows the versatility of the band. Entering the year Manor/Model, an album Arman states "explores and studies the human emotion, with stories picturing reactions and scenarios caused by or causing certain emotions." Thoughts And Intangibles album
$14.44 With The Fall, Norah Jones completes the transition away from her smooth cabaret beginnings and toward a mellowly arty, modern singer/songwriter. Jones began this shift on 2007's Not Too Late, an album that gently rejected her tendencies for lulling, tasteful crooning, but The Fall is a stronger, more ...

Thoughts And Intangibles CD music
$11.18 It's no secret that John Mayer is a 21st Century Fox, wining and dining women all through tabloid headlines, so it's about time he delivered an album that traded upon his loverman persona -- and Battle Studies is that record in spades. Retaining more than a modicum of the slick, soul-blues undertones ...

Thoughts And Intangibles album
$11.18 The goal of Leona Lewis' 2007 debut, Spirit, was to prove that an X Factor winner could be a phenomenon not just in the U.K., but in the rest of the world. The goal of her second album, 2009's Echo, is to prove that success was no fluke, to build upon "Bleeding Love" and turn Lewis into an actual diva. Certainly, Echo in any of its incarnations -- its song listings are tailored for individual markets, with the U.K. getting a ...

Thoughts And Intangibles CD music
$16.49 Michigan's own Smokestack has seen plenty of smoke filled bars and clubs as they've grown into a touring rock band . But where they differ from many up-and-coming Jambands is that these four guys are equally comfortable playing funked-out jazz standards or intricate neo-classical instrumentals. For Smokestack, music is a way of life, and each style breathes unique energy into its original sound. Members of the band have studied under such legends as Roy Haynes, Rufus Reid, Terry Lynne Carrington, John Clayton, Dennis Wilson, and Matt Michaels as well as played in Latin, bluegrass, funk, and jazz bands. Despite Smokestack's dedication to the art of improvisation, they place equal attention on song writing and lyrical content. After getting their start at small clubs around Ann Arbor, Michigan in late 1999, Smokestack has recently generated a huge buzz outside of their home state. The band has played over 150 shows in the last year including sharing the stage with such acts as moe., Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Umphrey's McGee, Particle, the New Deal, Dark Star Orchestra, The Slip, JGB, ekoostik hookah, The OM Trio, Oteil and the Peacemakers, Stangefolk, and The Shantee. Smokestack has steadily built a following through their high-energy live performances and the talk that follows them. Through mass circulation of live recordings (the band and it's fans burn 100's of live CD's and give them away to fans) the band was able to sell out venues in Colorado during their first visit to the state. Since then, the Stack has returned for two successful Colorado Tours with another 3-week Mountain Tour set to begin in mid-July. Smokestack's live shows have also been widely traded and talked about north of the border through Canadian websites such as Jambands.ca and Jamhub.ca. In addition, Smokestack as recently been accepted as part of the Home Grown Music Network (http://www.homegrownmusic.net). Here are some of the things that others have been saying about Smokestack:"For the past month, the band's debut album 'It's Coming Down' has not left our CD player. It's a highly addictive album showcasing the band's musicianship, and ability ...
