d2b : Historyd2b means 'Directions to Bliss' and is the project name for the CD's that Bhakta produces with a number of musicians from all over the world. These cds are produced for the My Master Music label. The idea of d2b was born while Bhakta was recording in the late hours at the music studio at Osho's Ashram in Poona India. Many great singers and musicians come to visit the ashram and play together. The aim is to bring the best moments to you, the moments when the artist has disappeared into silence, when a fragrance of the unknowable becomes audible. Some of the artists that d2b has worked with include: Maneesh ( Indian Slide Guitar), Bharam (Santur / Nay/ Voice), Avinash (Indian Violin) Tamasan (Voice), Millind (Bamboo flute), Rashmi (Voice), Agar (Shakuhachi), Nadama (Piano), Antar (Sitar), Chirag (Veena).Bhakta Bhakta, born in Holland , plays guitar, bass, ud, percussion and keyboards and has produced and performed with hundreds of musicians from all over this beautifull planet Earth. He's worked for seven years in the Music-Studio at Osho's Ashram in India, recording and playing with countless master vocalists and musicians, and another three years in Kyoto, Japan imbibing the spirit of Zen and a further deepening into the art of Listening. In 2002/2003 he's releasing "Open Transmission" for New Earth Records, and "Drowning in Grace" - "India all Over" and "Snow on Venus" as part of the 'd2b-Directions to Bliss' series for the MyMasterMusic label; the youngest label in Australia that Bhakta started with his partner Disha in the rainforest near Byron Bay in 2002. Their aim is to create music, from dance to meditative, that goes deeper and deeper towards your soul the more you listen to it. And that's a promise. Bhakta India All Over Songs | 1. | OM Namo |

India All Over songs
$6.09 RAY OF LIGHT won the 1999 Grammy Award for Best Pop Album and for Best Recording Package, and was nominated for Album Of The Year. "Ray Of Light" won the 1999 Grammy for Best Dance Recording and Best Short Form Music Video, and was nominated for Record Of The Year.
Relentlessly contemporary, RAY OF LIGHT pairs Madonna with producer William Orbit, an electronics wizard who has worked with major R&B acts and even such modern rockers as Blur and Depeche Mode. Reportedly, Madonna tried to snare Liam Howlett of high-strung techno-rockers the Prodigy into the project--Howlett claims to have turned her down. But the more dextrous, less in-your-face Orbit was probably a better choice anyway. He provides a dizzying array of soundscapes, incorporating everything from psychedelic-rock guitar ...

| | Rapper's Delight: The Best Of Sugarhill Gang CD (1996)
India All Over CD music
$8.89 Contrary to popular belief, the Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" was not the first rap song. For much of the world, however, it represented the first exposure to the burgeoning style, consisting of stripped-down backbeats, sampled music clips, and half-spoken/half-sung rhymed vocals from performers known as MCs. And a fine introduction it was--over the eminently danceable bass line from Chic's "Good Times," rappers Wonder Mike, Master Gee, and Big Bank Hank laid down a rotating round of infectious, witty, quick-tongued raps. The hip-hop nation was born.
Rhino's best-of compilation brings together 10 additional tracks by the Sugarhill Gang, including the hits "8th Wonder" and "Apache." Like the breakthrough single, these tunes borrowed instrumental lines from ...
