| | Jacksonvillains 1st CD Jacksonvillains Discography of CDs
The debut album of The Jacksonvillains, a smart pop trio, is a musical road trip that starts somewhere off of Interstate 95 in Northern Florida and winds its way through the caverns of Frank Zappa's notebook.Embodying the spirit and subversiveness of the South, they have created a music that has caverns of its own.The ten songs on this record blend sugary sweetness with the acerbic twang of that carbon monoxide-filled, concrete-doomed, high-hell-rise city on the St. John's River.Traditional song structures are thrown out and replaced by the songwriting fistfights between bassist/vocalist Aimee Norwich, and guitarist/vocalist Sandra Covin, while drummer Robin Bordow breaks it up, always just in time. There are songs about unrequited love, Satan, and the media, in a lyrical style that is a cross between Syd Barrett and Stephen Malkmus."1st" is a frenetic, imaginative debut effort that stretches the limitations and expectations of a power-pop trio sound. The Jacksonvillains are now disband but former leaders Aimee Norwich and Sandra Covin, are still best friends and have ventured off into different directions with their careers. Aimee Norwich is currently living in Brooklyn, NY and has recently finished her fifth solo cd, "Making Friends", while Sandra Covin is writing poetry and fiction in Missouri. 1st Music | Category | Rock/Pop Albums, Pop CDs | | Label | StarFruit | | Orig Year | 2000 | | CD Universe Part number | 7146287 | | Catalog number | 20702 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Jul 25, 2000 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Recording Time | 40 minutes |

$12.85 After the initial shock fades, the existence of CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART seems perhaps inevitable. After all, the thing Bob Dylan loves most of all are songs that are handed down from generation to generation, songs that are part of the American fabric, songs so common they never seem to have been written. These are the songs ...

$13.89 Silent Hero is a high-energy hy-bred modern rock band with heart pounding double guitar harmonies and rock synthesizers mixed with electronics. Add in a fantastic front man and you have yourself an adrenaline rush of high-octane rock and roll. A kind of two fisted audio visual assault on your senses. The Detroit area is bustling center of creative life, and Silent Hero stands out above the rest. Here's the story: In the Fall of 2002, front man extraordinaire Steve Kinzer (lead vocals / keys / synths / song writer) began collaborating with guitarist Mike Peraino and their styles blended instantly. They played their first show a few months later in January of 2003 and immediately astonished their listeners. Several different musicians have graced the band's line-up, but the roster was finally completed when guitarist/vocalist Derek Demara joined ...

| | Jared Dion Unstranded CD (2005)
1st album
$12.69 At just twenty-two years old Jared Dion has already seen a side of the world that most could only read about. He joined the Air National Guard in January of 2000, finished basic training, and went on to MSU-Moorhead to continue his education. After only a few months into college he started his own business as an affiliate of AFLAC dealing with insurance in small businesses. After his short stint in the business world he was called to active duty due to the September 11th tragedy. He served in the United States and spent some time in Bahrain, which is located just off the coast of Saudi Arabia. He now continues his education at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks working diligently on his music.Jared is a young songwriter with a thirst for the undercoated, blatant, honest truth and has brought his experiences to the stage with his gifted voice and intense acoustic guitar. Jared picked up his first acoustic at the age of sixteen while living in Fargo, North Dakota. He began to play like many young performers do, trying to learn the songs that he heard on the radio, but soon stopped because he felt he was not giving the music enough emotional credit. He thought that if he was going to play a song and give it all the attention it deserved he had better start writing his own music. Fueled by an emotional history, he sought to tell the world his story through lyrics. He auditioned and won the Lakes Regional Arts Scholarship in 1999; one of the perks of this win was a chance to ...
| | Tony Do Rosario Welcoming CD (2008)
1st CD music
$16.45 Jazz Guitarist, Tony do Rosario grew up in the Atlantic City area of southern New Jersey and has been performing for audiences for over a decade. Tony's appreciation for music came at an early age growing up in a family whose culture celebrated the art and spirit of music. During his younger years, Tony visited his parent's native country of Brazil where he recalls finding his love for life and music. "There was this Samba band that would rehearse down the street, I remember feeling the energy of the music." Tony also enjoyed watching his grandfather, a self taught musician, perform on the accordion for the family. By age eight Tony was expressing his own desire to create music and with his parent's support, was playing the guitar by. Several years later a neighbor, Tom Ferguson, introduced Tony to jazz. Tom had played with legendary musicians such as Nat King Cole and Dizzy Gillespie. Tom's stories and experiences not only enlightened Tony but inspired him to evolve from his rock and roll heroes to jazz, where he found his true musical identity. "I love the way it makes me feel ...
