Talksicc is a hip-hop group/company based on The Big Island of Hawaii. Along with other businessmen, artists, producers, and a positive street team, Tonic and Pete-Nutt head the front of this movement with goals and aspirations of opening a wider hip-hop market in Hawaii. They work as a record company: producing artists and developing their image into a marketable product. Founded and now residing on the Big Island for the past six years, Talksicc has helped pioneer, teach, and live hip-hop in Hawaii. The group consists of 7 main rap artists and features other talented artists as well as male and female vocalists. By the sound of their music, this is not your average hip-hop group you would expect out of the Aloha State. Members in this large and expanding group are from various places around the United States and of coarse, Hawaii. Throughout the six years of building and constructing, Talksicc has put out several EP releases and bootleg copies of their past material. "Work Your Hustle Volumes 1&2" were the EP's that caught the buzz around the islands. As the buzz of an up and coming local group began seducing the ears of listeners, they continued to work harder to produce more music for the fans. Doing their own graphics, finding artists, producing, recording, mixing, and promoting became an everyday job (along with their families) for group members. During the struggle, problems escalated amongst racist and envious bouncers, bitter owners, and jealous people. Talksicc had to learn how to cope with the other side of the business. Through the journey, they encountered numerous political and prejudice problems that were easily overcome by their professionalism. As pride would show it, on July 2nd 2002, Talksicc released their first pressed album entitled "ColdWorld." This album will cross all boundary lines in the Hawaiian music industry. It will remind fans and other artists that music is self-expression, so it's not illegal to exercise the freedom of expression. Talksicc's "Cold World" album is filled with smooth, intricately made, head bobbin' melodies constructed along with dream/reality story lines created to give it the emotional touch. The ability to speak freely through music allows Talksicc to give the audience a visual look at what they know and have been through as a group and as individuals. They also depict the realistic side of Hawaii that most people try not to believe and/or are afraid to admit. Get the "Cold World" album NOW!! Also, we have the HI-State All-Star's project, which is another compilation overlooked by executive producer Big Nick. This album will feature some of Hawaii's most talented artists. Production on the album is done by Irongate (aka Silent Knight), Tonic (aka Shotz), Pete-Nutt, and DtronicArts. The third album in the line of duty, (a few cuts away from completion), is the (Yet untitled) solo album from Tonic (aka Shotz): a more personal album. This will be the first solo album from the Talksicc Family. The hard head in the group with an unpredictable, systematic way of rhyme construction will bring you an a Coldworld Music | Category | R&B Albums, Rap CDs | | Label | Talksicc Entertainment | | Orig Year | 2002 | | CD Universe Part number | 7147414 | | Catalog number | 87490 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Jul 23, 2002 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Recording Time | 69 minutes |

$16.45 About Jimmy Edwards Jimmy Edwards was born James Mitchell Edwards July 9, 1971 in Manhasset, NY. The son of professional singers, Jimmy grew up in a household dominated by the common themes of Opera, Broadway and Hollywood musicals: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy sings song and gets girl. As a child, Jimmy actively took part in several musical productions in the New York area including La Boheme, Elijah, The Electric Sunshine Man (a musical biography of Thomas Edison) as well as a host of other productions. Jimmy's family history reeks of musical talent. His mother and father sang for various venues as they were called on several times at gatherings for entertainment. Jimmy and his mother performed frequently together with the Manhasset Bay Opera Company. His grandfather, Thomas Edwards pursued a professional career as a tenor with the well-traveled quartet The Revelers; an act he owned. They performed constantly having done so for Dwight Eisenhower twice at the White House. His grandmother Eleanor Zellers-Edwards, herself an accomplished musician, performed frequently in churches throughout New York City. Her professionalism and dedication to her art landed her performances with the New York Philharmonic several times. Jimmy' early days on Long Island were ones wrought with the inception of his creativity. He started creating music at age seven while entertaining his brother Christopher, placing his menagerie of stuffed animals into situation comedy-type performances named "The Pooh Show" centering on the ...
