Marshall-Grant Ministries - Singing God's Word for ALL God's People!Carolyn Marshall has been described as having the "Voice of an Angel". In 1998, Carolyn released her first CD "Turn On Your Light". The songs on that CD are a collection of old hymns from her Southern Baptist roots and contemporary Christian music that reflects her new vision of a loving, all-inclusive God. Pat Grant's considerable background in music and theater make her a tremendous asset to this CD. She also provides a fresh perspective to religious interpretation because of her diverse religious participation. She has rich warm vocal sounds and is a hilariously funny actress who provides a welcome change to the usual Christian program. Partners in life and in ministry, Pat Grant and Carolyn Marshall collaborated on "Songs From The Road" and have produced a CD with appeal for a wide variety of listeners. They have everything from radio theater sketches and love songs to jazz and gospel sounds. Together, these two women can make you laugh and cry and want to sing! Carolyn and Pat believe that all are worthy of God's Love regardless of sexual orientation and that sexual orientation is an essential part of God's ordained plan for individual lives of faith and for the world. They travel extensively throughout the US providing full concerts, church service mini-concerts and programs suited for conferences and banquets. Pat and Carolyn's programs are appropriate for both your GLBT and mainstream members. They strive to provide a balance between the daily Christian walk and the issues surrounding the Christian GLBT community. They want ALL to hear that God loves each and every one of us exactly the way we are without exception. Carolyn Marshall's clear soprano voice and Pat Grant's comedic style offer a wonderfully unique worship experience!! They are both entertaining and spiritually uplifting. Songs From The Road album
$15.19 Tammy King, up and coming gospel artist and songwriter, is one of the most gifted and talented artists of this decade. Let's get to know a little more about this special lady.Tammy's been singing for over 20 years and from an early age she knew God had a great purpose for her life. Her greatest desire is to be a world renowned gospel singer and a minister of the gospel. Though Tammy was born in Norfolk, VA, she relocated to New York City. Growing up in New York opened up a whole new world; some good experiences and some not so good. She started singing in nightclubs at 16 years old, and was actually offered a singing contract with one of New York's well-known singing groups. Because she was under age, Tammy's mother refused to sign the contract. She truly believed there was a greater plan for Tammy's life in the making. Tammy continued singing R&B music, but became somewhat rebellious. Through this and other experiences, she knew God was calling her to sing His praises and nothing else. But when she refused to obey God, she found herself unable to sing a note for years!Afterwards Tammy rededicated her life and music back to God. She then relocated back to Virginia. Tammy could ...

Songs From The Road songs
$16.45 The time is ripe the time is NOW for Stanford Milburn aka Shadow Skillz. After years of opening for other famous acts and producing other artists, it's his turn to blow up. His soon-to-be-released CD titled "What's in a Name?" will demonstrate all of his versatile and diversified attributes - and a sound with an edge of his own. "I want to be known for my own sound," said Shadow Skillz. "I don't want to come out with people saying that I sound like so-and-so. I want to know for a fact that, when people hear me, they know that it's me." One spark that will help lead to Shadow's impending explosion in the industry is his gaining the production assistance of Grammy Award-winner Madukwu Chinwah. The multi-faceted songwriter and producer took home music's ultimate treasure with his co-penning of the song "Love of My Life," with songstress Erykah Badu in 2003. He recognizes Shadow's cutting edge. "I think this project is refreshing in that it's a change of pace. Many projects that I've done in the South are generated from drum machines. Technology has basically put the music together," said Chinwah, after working with Shadow in the studios. "What I like about his project is that it features at least some live instrumentation. Shadow incorporates vocals. It doesn't sound like everything else that comes out of this region. That includes his vocals. One can't tell where he's from by listening to the project." Several artists say they're different. Shadow genuinely distinguishes himself from the ordinary hip-hop artist. A true student of that form of music, he's exposed himself to it all: East Coast, West Coast, North, South, overseas. His music is easy enough to listen to while driving down the highway, but with a strong enough beat to dance to. It's feel good music but he still has some crunk in the trunk. "It has to have that street appeal, because you want to reach those people with what you have to say," he says. Shadow has chosen to stay away from the recycling brands of ...
