Twenty year old Adam Campbell has been singing for most of his life. He started singing in musical theater productions at a young age, and has progressed through jazz, classic rock, opera, hip hop, experimental, and has combined these influences to create his own music and style in his first recording - "Antihero".His vocal and writing techniques have been inspired by the likes of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Thom York, Jeff Buckley, Mandy Patinkin, and Mike Patton.He currently lives in Northern California where he performs locally, but will be moving to Los Angeles to continue developing his songs and styling. "I started playing guitar in high school. I lived in a very rural area, and didn't have much to do, and playing music brought something beautiful to my life. It gave me a voice to express myself," reports Melody, singer, songwriter, and producer of "Tangled in Brilliance".At the age of seventeen, Melody put herself and her sister in foster care. She finished high school, and then moved to the bay area to put herself through college. She started to perform in 1995 at a small café in Mountain View CA. "It was really crazy, because sometimes I would be the only female performer, and I would get all of this attention because of it, but what I really wanted to know was, were my songs any good. Sometimes I felt like my clientele wasn't quite right, because I wanted to yell, and cuss, and I kept offending people. Sometimes I felt alone in my angst. It wasn't going over well with the café crowd. And then because I came from a very small town, I didn't know about any underground performers. We didn't even have a grocery store, much less an underground music scene. So I had already been performing for about a year when I learned about Aani DiFranco. For as long as he can remember, music has been singer/songwriter Brett Vogel's passion. The first album he purchased was George Harrison's "Cloud Nine." Shortly thereafter he bought his first guitar , and it became his constant companion from that moment onward. "There wasn't really a defining moment when I thought to myself, this is what I want to do with my life. The passion was just a part of me from the beginning. The better I became, and the more feedback I got, the more I began to realize that I could make my dream a reality." He was diligent about attaining this dream and began taking piano lessons, and joined the choir at school. He wanted to dig his fingers into all things musical. At Eastern Illinois University, where he earned his bachelor of finance degree, he assembled his first band, "Berkeley's Dream" with four other guys, and they became a regional favorite, playing gigs at colleges, universities, and bars/venues throughout the Midwest. Brett has since stepped away from the quartet to pursue his career as a solo artist.
