He is a consummate guitarist, vocalist, musician, songwriter and producer!Randy Clay was basically born a musician. At the tender age of 6 years old, he began playing the drums and singing. One of his first recordings was at age 8 with family musicians at Arthur Smith Studios in Charlotte, N.C. Very shortly, Randy picked up the guitar and well the rest is pretty much history. Randy has traveled the nation with bands from all genres of music.....

He has performed studio sessions on many recording projects and has produced other projects as well. Randy's motto is "if you can hum it, I can play it!"Randy received his BA degree in music/guitar and a minor in percussion from the University Of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is president and owner of Music Consultants Entertainment, Inc. and Marcato Music Company. He books musical entertainment, operates a musical instrument retail shoppe and instructional studio, where he and his other teachers teach their many proteges.
With his first solo album release, "Beyond This World" in 1999, Randy wrote all music, lyrics and produced the project. It was mastered by Nashville notable, Hank Williams of Master Mix. His second project, "Passengers" released in March, 2002 was created by Randy, incorporating extraordinary professional session players That cranked up the whole production to an exciting level. Randy's next project entitled, "Randy's Realm" released in March, 2004 showcases his all around talent, in that it was written, produced, engineered, mixed, mastered, designed and all instruments and vocals were done by Randy. Randy and friends most recently did a Christmas album "Jingle Bell Christmas Ride" featuring his family band, THE REAL CLAYS.

Randy Co-hosted and performed on "The Masters Music" WLXI, Greensboro, NC which aired in the US and Canada via the TCT Network, 2000-2001. "Triad Alive", WLXI, Greensboro, NCRandy's most recent venture is back playing with family members, Tom Clay, Willie Clay and Willie Clay Jr.
