DON'T LET THE NAME FOOL YOU!! There is no group like THE INSPIRED CATHOLIC VOICES. These ladies can just flat out sing some gospel music. They bring the spirit without wasting anytime. The Inspired Catholic Voices demonstrate exactly what gospel singing is supposed to be about -- singing praises to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.The INSPIRED CATHOLIC VOICES started out as the St.Bernard Inspirational Catholic Gospel Choir. They were formerly known as the St. Louis Bertrand Gospel Choir. The choir served at this church for twenty-two years until 1994. The entire choir relocated to St. Bernard Catholic Church in Oakland, CA.In 2002, the INSPIRED CATHOLIC VOICES reduced down to three (3) members and they are looking to only grow in their conviction. The group now consists of a set of twins and a close family friend that like to sing - sing nothing but praises to god.Members of the INSPIRED CATHOLIC VOICES are Leona Andrews, Leila Bellow (often called THE TWINS) and Luana Striplin. They have performed at the MCDONALD GOSPEL FEST, GOSPEL ON THE GREEN, GOSPEL EXPLOSION II, GOSPEL AT THE RANCH, THE CALVIN SIMMONS THEATER, THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR and GREAT AMERICA IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY. They have also shared the stage with the MISSISSIPPI MASS CHOIR, REV. RANCE ALLEN, VICKI WINANS and well known gospel artist LUTHER BARNES.The group is managed by Sugar Ray and Mattie Richardson of RayTown Music Productions. They are based out of Oakland, CA, area. According to Sugar Ray Richardson, "I have had several groups in the past, but none like THE INSPIRED CATHOLIC VOICES. These ladies are full of energy, energy directed at singing praises to the Lord." Someday some smart record company executive will see the value of having these ladies on their label and the rest will be history.The group is available for anytype of engagement where good gospel is required.
