Regardless of what genre of music you like, I think this is a must have for any music collection..." Fan JavaGuitar"...I just wanted to close my eyes and drift on a cloud while your music filled my ears with pleasure! I never imagined a violin and guitar could sound so beautiful..." D.M. Heavy Metal Fan, Estes Park CO"Savor the Range. This recording illustrates the widest selection range presented by the duo-all played with an emphasis on arousing strong emotion...This duo generates a lot of music from two instruments. The listener will play it many times and remain engaged by the flow of each piece into the other, yet all representing different types of music. A recording to enjoy in many settings and one which will be played many, many times." fan from Westland, MI USA"...Seeing Malcolm performing is unbelievable. He dances with the sound, no wait, the sound dances him. He can live at ground zero and play from that high heaven. But have you seen him? I couldn't believe what I was hearing and then seeing. More than amazing!Malcolm Watson is an active, swirling, transcendental violinist who plays and dances barefoot, dressed sharply in a white tuxedo, accompanied by a variety of acoustic-electrified guitars. His music moves him, moves his bow, and moves me, tremendously. This is ecstatic music performed in ecstatic presence..." Greg Ozimek PhenomeNews"...and I can't begin to say how captivated I was by your music!...It freed me to cry like I needed to..." G.A. Another BABYBOOMER on the "Long and Winding Road" to join the ranks of his contemporaries like Elton John, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Santana ... Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp... whom WATSON left (almost 30 years ago) when he felt their scene no longer nourished his Spirit.WATSON had a passion - or rather ApassionatA - toward classical music.English-born five year old WATSON stood on a Spring English morning holding his first violin. It was a gift from his uncle. Two years passed before his family found a teacher who would teach such "youthfullness". And WATSON - gentle, well spoken, and with glasses perched, discovered in those two years that there was no other consideration - he knew he was to be a violinist. Lessons were on Saturday morning's, an hour's bus ride away, his violin case nestled between his knees. Trained at the Kent Junior Music School, performed solos at age 7, and with symphony orchestras at 10. His rise as a prodigy, which almost resembles that of Paganini 200 years earlier, Manifested in a FULL SCHOLARSHIP AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC. He was just 16, already in full blossom as a performer/composer/interpreter of classical Masterpieces. However, there was one part of this which he could not agree to his view of life: Classical music was taken too seriously, played too seriously, performed too seriously and presented too seriously, - very unlike the flamboyant romanticism of Paganini, the charm of Liszt, the playfulness of Mozart, the exuberant lig Catharsis Infinity Music | List Price | $23.97 (You save $4.98) | | Category | New Age Albums | | Label | Xcentric Recordings | | Orig Year | 1993 | | CD Universe Part number | 7154342 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Oct 02, 2002 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Recording Time | 49 minutes |

Occupation: SomnambulistPreoccupation: Sonic Sculptor Musical Influences:The thumb-bell of a passing bicycle in May of 1958, on a gravel street in New Koza, Okinawa - in that moment my ears were opened; an early morning wind through the short stubby pines in the mountains above Death Valley; an utter silence so complete it made the ears ache, on the floor of Death Valley at 12:43 PM on Thursday, the 12th of June, 1969; distant thunder; Clifford Brown; a soft forest rain in the Sierra Nevada Foothills; 43,000 people cheering at a SF Forty Niners game in 1966; Ben Webster; Hank Meals laughing; e. e. cummings; a distant train whistle; Harry Partch; a Redwinged Blackbird on a 1951 hot July afternoon in Sacramento; a human heart beat; John Cage; the river at the Second Campsite on Oregon Creek in 1974; John Coltrane; the majesty of the Daibutsu in Tōdai-ji, Nara, Japan, where the Sika deer roam freely and eat passively from your hand.Listen carefully, the universe is singing. It's all music. On Sonic Sculpture'Wherever we are, what we hear is mostly noise. When we ignore it, it disturbs us. When we listen to it, we find it fascinating. The sound of a truck at 50 m.p.h. Static between the stations. Rain. We want to capture and control these sounds, to use them, not as sound effects, but as musical instruments. 'John Cage said this two years before I was born. I was unaware of him at the ...

Catharsis Infinity music CDs
$17.09 Waiting for Sara is the music you want playing when she walks through the door. It's the atmosphere on the beach when she first kisses you. It's the soundtrack of romance. "David Feder is a phenomenal guitarist...and one of the best kept secrets in the Florida Keys..." (Carl Hiaasen, Author) "David Feder took the stage next -- a real world-class act. He did amazing things on an electrified Taylor classical guitar during an absolutely incredible set. Dave premiered several new compositions from two soon-to-be-released CDs called "Black Emerald" (Hillbilly Flamenco) and "Leila's Dream," as well as songs from "Waiting for Sara." If his sheer musicianship wasn't dazzling enough, the stories he told about his compositions were funny, moving, and he really touched a lot of people with his music." Byline: John Bartus from Tourbaby Show Reprinted from Monroe Council of the Arts Summer newsletter 2000 I bet you're wondering, what the heck is "Hillbilly Flamenco?""Hillbilly Flamenco" is the magic sounds of guitarist David Feder and his band Salagua-Azul. David writes and plays Original Flamenco style Gypsy music, with a Celtic, "Psyco/Hillbilly" feel. It's really fun and romantically charged and now you can experience it live! David is an exciting, warm and provocative ...
