Norman Whitelaw cut his first record in Biggars Recording Studio in Glasglow, Scotland at age 5. Throughout Norman's childhood and teenage years he appeared on Scottish television and performed with a number of orchestras in Great Britain. As the lead singer and bass guitar player for the group Fargo, Norman toured throughout Europe.During his days as a session man in London's Soho District, Norman had the opportunity to work with rock legends Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, and Sheena Easton. This experience continues to influence Norman's style as a songwriter. Unconscious State of Mine is a reflection of the artistry found in the music of Norman Whitelaw.
