Childlike is Steve Smith and Tod Stilley. Steve spent many years in the music retail business and teaching private music lessons. He returned to school at East Carolina University to complete his degree in education. Steve is an elementary school teacher who has taught in New Hampshire and North Carolina. He has taught third and fourth grade as well as general music and chorus. While in school he had an idea to create music for children which adults could enjoy as well. He took this idea to his long time friend Tod who has been a professional musician for the past 25 years in and around Eastern North Carolina. Together they created Magic Journey. These songs were inspired by Steve's own children as well as students that he encountered over the years. They were fashioned into the songs you will hear through months of hard work and some pretty neat tricks too.
