Milleniums ago, the powers that be designed what was known as the caste system. The caste system was created to dictate the social status of people in the world by monetary means. This game of pimps and prostitutes further developed into social classes. Once this caste system modernized into social classes, the upper and lower classes were formed and were divided by the middle class. Citizens fought hard to become part of the "elite" upper class even if it meant turning on family and friends. The working class became known as lumpen-proletariats. Many of these members sought fame and wealth at any cost because of the "good life" that the upper class appeared to be living. Phonies who gained admission into the "elite" class became confused after realizing that their roots would always tie back to the lumpen-proletariat life no matter how hard they sought to escape. After realizing this fact, it was too late because the same roots that they attempted to abandon formed in to strong trees with branches that no longer reached out to them.Admist the anarchy and confusion, a child named Mose III was born. The blood, sweat and tears of the people were spat in his face as he trained for decades to implement order and social responsibility. His time has arrived... "I can honestly say that I can't describe my music. I don't sit up and try to make raps. I think that's what one does when they haven't come to grips with who they are as an artist. I create messages that provoke emotion. I won't write for the sake of putting together words that carry no meaning. When I write a song it's not forced, it just flows with my daily routine like breathing. I'm exhibiting skill that may render profit instead of chasing profit that may or may not exhibit skill...I never wanted to go to a major radio station or record label with my songs. I make music for the people. if i eat i eat, if i starve i starve. "Social Responsibilty" is about putting out thought provoking music that does not cater to the powers that be. Once you cater to the powers that be you can no longer cater to those who need to be fed..Accept your own and be yourself..."-Mose IIIAfter taking this CD out of the case, ask yourself have you come to grips with the image that you will see...It is time to socialize responsibly. are you ready?Look for the new album entitled DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE to be released 10-27-04 by Mose III at 3 Degrees/Zentra Doors open at 9:30. $15.65 On THE BLUEPRINT 3, still unretired Jay-Z announces "the only rapper to rewrite history without a pen." It's a standard Jigga boast, but the Brooklyn icon has earned the bragging by backing it up, particularly on his gold-label, top-shelf BLUEPRINT series. Ever-ready for battle, Jay-Z takes on autotune, crossover radio, and many other hip-hop concerns with the gloriously jagged rap elan for which he's become known.
When Jay-Z first made a series out of his best album, 2001's The Blueprint, it became a game of high expectations. The first volume saw Jay-Z as vital as he'd ...

Recognized by her loyal cult of fans and referenced in songs by heavy-weight rappers like Lil Kim, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg and collaborating with Tupac Shakur, "Double H" has lent a strong hand in smashing taboos and leading the charge of sexual liberation. "I never really thought about it when I was doing it." Heather admits. "I just knew what I wanted to do and made it happen. That's just how I am."Hustling on the streets of Harlem and Brooklyn was tough on Heather who would ultimately use those rough times as fuel for her unwavering ambition to succeed. Social Responsibility CD music
$11.49 “Veteran songwriter and performer Tom Lawson leaves no stone unturned with songs of life, love and politics, backed by the blues/rock crunch of the Groovehounds.” --Oasis Rock and Roots, vol VIII #10 Tom Lawson, although known primarily as keyboardist/vocalist with bands throughout California, has written songs since his days in LA during the height of the Sunset Strip music revolution. His piano and organ styles are drawn from Jimmy Smith, Sunnyland Slim, Charles Brown, Ramsey Lewis, Eddie Cano, Dr. John and other keyboard heroes, with a vocal style recalling, at various times, Dr. John, Randy Newman, or Van Morrison. His over 100 copyrighted compositions span blues, rock and gospel and have been performed in clubs and on concert stages, on radio and the internet, as well as in churches. Tom’s current CD, Blues at Eleven, features thirteen originals (twelve by Tom, one by Sahra Baker) and is designed to showcase “American ...
