Mr. Sounds album
$12.49 "Dream With Me Tonight" has won 8 children's music awards, including Parent's Choice and iParenting.com. Why so many honors? Possibly because of the Sandman Records motto, "DON'T DRIVE PARENTS CRAZY!" Here's what former Doobie Brother and pop icon, Michael McDonald, says: "Lanny Sherwin's CD, "Dream With Me Tonight", is a wonderful collection of songs that help parents and children transcend a world all too often harsh and unfair. Beautifully rendered by Melodie Crittenden's vocals, she brings great personality to these terrific songs. Can the world ever have too many wonderful lullabies?"Ten percent of each CD sale goes to the Spina Bifida Association of America.Melodie Crittenden is the voice behind "Dream With Me Tonight", and what a voice! With Melodie singing, Moms and Dads will want to hit the "Repeat" button as often as their kids.A former Asylum Records recording artist, Melodie's debut CD, "Melodie Crittenden" was released in 1998. She has toured ...

Mr. Sounds album
$9.35 "patchwork.fm" is a Vienna-based pop band centered around US/Austrian lead singer Annie Kay.Annie Kay - vocalsBernhard Krabina - guitarsGerald Grüner - keyboardsJoe Dietrichstein - bassChristina Kaufmann - drumspatchwork.fm's Music Style-------The music of patchwork.fm ("Adult Alternative Pop/Rock") is sufficiently easy-listening to appeal to a wide audience, but it isn't mainstream. An amalgam of style elements treats listeners to a welcome change from ordinary music fare. The title of the debut album "More Than Meets The Eye" accurately reflects this condition: There is more (to see and hear) than you may think at first sight or hearing. Patchwork.fm uses pleasant melodies and "alternative" style elements to captivate its audiences' ears and hearts.Annie Kay's expressive voice and her vocal arrangements are central to the band's sound that runs the gamut from upbeat and easy-going to pensive and mysterious. The songs demand to be heard from beginning to end, the vocal line weaving through each song like a thread stitching together and sustaining a vibrant musical patchwork quilt. The Background----From 1998 to 2001, the Austrian band "patchwork.fm" amply tried and tested its substantial musical vocabulary on audiences in many clubs up and down the city of Vienna and its surroundings. It's positive reception at live performances, for instance at Unplugged, Café Kino, Institut Français de Vienne, La Crêperie, Mautner's, Planet Music, the Planet Music Café and ZuGaBe strengthened the band's resolve to commit it's original compositions to CD. Early 2001, the band withdrew to draw upon the expertise of artists in L.A. and work intensely on arranging, recording and mixing their songs for the release of their debut "More Than Meets The Eye".Annie Kay----Born in Santa Rosa, California, USA as the youngest child of four, Annie Kay was raised in Manila, Philippines and in Vienna, Austria where she currently resides. She grew up to the sounds of her Austrian family singing harmony to old folk songs, her ...
