II Timothy 1:9 In scripture, it is clear that God has a purpose for everyone=s life. The Apostle Paul is a prime example. In a vision, the Lord told Ananias to find Saul. Ananias expressed concern, because Saul legally persecuted Christians. The Lord let him know that Saul was created for a purpose. But the Lord said to him "Go for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bare my name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel." Acts 8:15 Jesus had told His disciples to spread the gospel. "But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8 However, when the Holy Spirit filled the disciples in Jerusalem, there was such a powerful experience that they stayed there. When persecution started with Saul consenting to the stoning of Stephen, believers scattered and took the gospel to other places just as Jesus wanted. Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria except the apostles. Acts 8:1 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Acts 8:4 When he was not an apostle, Saul served God's will by spreading the gospel. After a miraculous conversion experience encounter with Jesus, Paul became an apostle, went on missionary journeys, wrote scriptural epistles, and convinced many to follow Jesus. His instructions to the churches and his insight are still applicable. When he was not a follower of Jesus, he helped spread the gospel. When he became a follower of Jesus, he helped spread the gospel. God's will for his life always prevailed - Paul's purpose in life was to spread the gospel. The lyrics to the cover song "There's A Purpose" was written by Lisa Dent when she was a teenager. When she gave me the words, I knew this was a timeless song to inspire Christians worldwide. The music came forth from me late one night after midnight. God is the giver of inspiration; songwriters like me and Lisa just happen to be vessels to carry it to others. And when you hear Pat sing, you will understand why God has chosen her - she is an anointed instrument created to reach beyond the listener's intellect and inspire the soul. So, we have made this project to inspire people like you. God has created you for a wonderful purpose. And even when you are not aware of it, in some special way, you are living it. God blesses you!
