The charismatic Young Thugg has risen up from the hard streets of San Francisco's Hunter's Point where, after the death of his beloved mother, he was orphaned at the age of 9 years old. His love for the Bay Area is strong and originates from his being moved around from Bay Area group home to group home all of his childhood years and throughout most of his teens . The Bay Area is the only home he has ever known.
With all of his losses, mother, brother and many friends, and the shuffling through the Justice System - Young Thugg has the pain, the joy and the hype that he has experienced throughout his 27 years which reflects in his lyrics, his rhythm and his style. He is a storyteller like no other!
