If a someone is talking about a given situation they got caught up in, I can feel their emotions, and understand what that person might be going through/dealing with at the time. I like getting to know people for the first time, and just that one encounter with anyone can actually help to inspire me and writing a idea of a song." There’s joy in her smile and the genuine love she has for the art of music helps to illuminate the stage. She is extremely gracious to her audience, accepting their cheers and applause with a pure and humbled spirit. It is her pleasure to entertain them; she’s only doing what comes naturally…she’s doing her destiny. It’s not a coincidence that Trei was born and raised in a city known for making musical history. Motown (Detroit, MI) in the late 70’s was the pulse of the American music industry. To a little girl with a big dream and a burning desire to spread love through song, the historical city became her stage. At the age of four, Trei was a local favorite; using her gift of song to touch the hearts of many through a Sunday morning church radio broadcast. With the support of her church family, Trei’s formal vocal training began at age six and soon music became the guide that would lead her to her destined path.At 22 Trei` left the sheltering arms of Detroit to spread her wings ...
