Hi! My name is Beth Poplin. I am a preacher’s daughter! I am the daughter of Doug and Anne Farmer, the sister to Mark and Jeff Farmer, the wife of Edward J. Poplin, the mother to Hunter and Summer Poplin, & the friend to many. But in my life, my dad has inspired me to fall in love with The One Who Created me! I took piano lessons as a little girl but since I was a tomboy I thought playing the piano was for sissies’ so I quit. When I was 12, I received a guitar for Christmas because that was a kool instrument to play. I began to teach myself how to play and would hang out with anybody who could teach me a lick or two. I even taught my peers everything I was learning! I thought that was awesome too! I love music! I can remember so vividly, when I was 18 years old, longing to sit down at the piano and just playing! I even remember crying, sitting there wanting to play! I said, “Lord, please! I want to give You this music locked-up inside of me! Help me play this piano!” It was as though The Holy Spirit began to show me how to play guitar chords on the piano!!!! I was so excited. Then the music began to flow! I wanted my music to be eternal. I wanted an audience of One. I was even offered an opportunity to go to Nashville, but felt at that time in my life that I just wanted The Lord as my audience. He began to use me in leading worship in prisons, and youth camps, and churches. I was called as worship leader to several churches over the years. There is no other place that I’d rather be than in His Presence. That is where I want to take others. This music came through many trials and heartaches, through suffering rejection and even pity parties. The title song was written in honor of my dad who truly showed me the love of the Father through his life and dedication to my mom and to us, his children. The cover of the Cd is how I picture myself in this life. Right smack-dab in the middle of His will. I trust Him to put into the lives of all who call upon His name the very Words that will give them life and cause them to love and trust Him as much as I do. I will say that the reason I made this Cd was because the Special Educational Teacher that I assist, Ms. Lynne Terry, heard my music. She made a way for me to record this Cd. My husband believed in me too. He made sure there were enough Cds to go around. I just wanted to get it to my friends and my family. But those people wanted to get it into the hands of anybody and everybody who would listen. I also know how short and how precious life is. If the Lord calls me home before His return, I wanted my children to have a piece of my heart to carry on. You see, the most important thing in my life is to make known to the world, that Jesus Christ is the Way, The Truth And The Life. And that know one can go to the Father except through Him. My whole existence is to glorify my God. I am very involved in my church music program. First Assembly of God in Albemarle, N.C. is a wonderful place to belong. I am on the worship dance team. We do a lot of sign language. I am a drummer on a rotating basis. I play guitar on Sunday nights to relieve the morning guitarist. I sing on the worship team and ...

I mostly grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but sorta bounced around all up and down the West Coast… Orange County, Tahoe, Oregon, Washington… and now back to where I began my life, in San Clemente, CA. I guess you could say I didn’t have too many things in my life that were solid, and I kinda went from one thing to the next, trying to fill this growing void in my heart. I tried filling the void with everything imaginable and nothing worked. Although there were a few things that worked temporarily, they always wore off into reality and left me more and more empty. Somewhere along the way, I wound up getting hooked on meth and watched my life spiral down into the toilet. I hit several bottoms, but it wasn’t until 1995, at 22-years-old, when I hit my last bottom while living in Longview, Washington. I had been in and out of twelve-step groups and decided to give the program another shot. I got clean but really struggled to stay that way. Meanwhile, I continued to try filling the void in my heart. After I’d been clean for about fourteen months a buddy from my twelve-step meeting invited me to his church one night. At that point I was ready to give anything a try, so I went. The Holy Spirit was all over me that night and I gave my heart to Jesus. From that moment on, I have never had a desire to use drugs again… all the drug using nightmares ...
