A Six String Guitar, Tourist Town Bar and the Best Harp player on the Planet! It was a Helluva night on the shores of Lake Erie when "Trop Rock" Artist KD Moore teamed up with the original member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, Harmonica player Greg 'Fingers' Taylor. Some originals by KD, a few of the classics that made Fingers a legend, some ad lib, and a crazy crowd adds up to a wild night at the legendary Tin Goose Saloon. We caught the show at The Tin Goose and I must say you and "Fingers" put on quite a show. We had a great time and can't wait to see the two of you together again!! I just want to know K.D., Where do you get your endless energy?? You NEVER took a break the entire night. Keep up the great work! Bev, OH You and Greg totally rocked at Bancroft Saturday night!! I was truly amazed at how long you guys performed!! I can tell you are really into what you are doing, and that you care about pleasing your audience, and giving 179%!! I can't wait to see you perform again! Live At The Tin Goose Saloon songs
$13.69 From his beginnings in Upstate NY with the band Exploding Boy to his current success as a solo artist, perseverance has been a constant for Michael J. "I've been fortunate enough to be able to sustain a career for much longer than most major-label bands even though I've been flying below radar for so long. I've flatly refused to change my music to fit trends. The only thing I've ever been interested in is finding my own voice musically and that's often a more difficult, but much more rewarding road for an artist to take". During the course of his career, Michael J has released 6 independent CD's (3 with Exploding Boy and 3 solo records), performed thousands of shows all over the United States, and has shared stages with acts such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Sister Hazel, Howie Day, Colin Quinn of SNL, Cheap Trick, Joan Osborne, Angie Aparo, and Art Alexakis of Everclear. He has maintained a strong presence in the world of independent music for many years and continues to do so today. In 1991, Michael J made his national television debut with Exploding Boy in "YAMAHA'S SOUNDCHECK Rock Music Showcase" in Hollywood, CA ranking in the top five from a field of over 2,500 unsigned bands. The syndicated special was hosted by Dweezil Zappa and Holly Robinson-Peete. Judges for the event included Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, the late John Entwistle of The Who, and Randy Jackson of "American Idol" fame. Exploding Boy made their final public appearance as musical guests on "The Jenny Jones Show" in 1998. ...

Live At The Tin Goose Saloon CD music
$6.69 Originally formed in 1990 by Haas, bassist Jason Bowes and drummer Terry Bradley (who went on to Thrall and Queen Bee, signed to Alternative Tentacles), the three Detroit Catholic Central High School mates fused their respective backgrounds in punk, metal, & pop with technique to form a unique sound. Haas explains that, "we tried to make the music as weird as possible, with all sorts of time changes..." but what could have been limited self-indulgence captured a loyal following. After their first show at the Token Lounge (now the Mosquito Club) they rapidly progressed to opening for national acts as varied as the Vandals, Jawbox, Big Drill Car and the Doughboys. In 1990 they played the VFW hall in Ferndale with a punk band from California that had really junky equipment. As Bowes relates, "That stupid Noodles guy came up and looked at our stuff and said, 'You guys have some pretty nice gear.'" Since the Bandits had booked a later show the same night at the legendary Finney's Pub they couldn't stay around to watch the set performed by the Offspring. (What ever happened to those guys?)Another break for the band that same year was being a finalist in the national Snickers New Music search which saw them being including on a compilation (on vinyl!) distributed to college radio nationwide. Also sharing space on the comp was a band from South Carolina who went ...
