Wayne McGraw: guitars, bass, keyboardTrent Antony: drums, percussionWayne McGraw and Trent Antony had always enjoyed creating and recording music together while growing up and attending college in Colorado. When life led them to different states, it could have easily been the end of their musical collaboration. Thanks to modern technology, the two were able to create the Amelia album, despite the distance.Amelia is the duo's most successful release to date and the music has received airplay on public radio stations across the United States and charted on newagereporter.com. Impact Press called the tracks "tight as they can be," and "Sunday afternoon relaxing music" (June 2004).The music found on Amelia was inspired by ideas of travel (motion, places, flight, the great aviator Amelia Earhart, etc.). As such, the music on this CD spans an unusual range of musical stylings - New Age, Smooth Jazz, Rock. Similar to the unpredictable nature of traveling, these songs may seem a bit varied in style. But the same enjoyment that is experienced while traveling and encountering new and unexpected things is the same enjoyment that results from listening to this entire album. For all of the striking differences, the keen observer (listener) will detect common threads that bind. Via Cora Amelia Songs | 1. | This Way East |

| | Monkees Music Box CDs (2001) Box Set
Amelia music CDs
$52.15 Includes a 96 page booklet with liner notes by Andrew Sandoval.
Digitally remastered by Dan Hersch and Bill Inglot (Digiprep).
It's hard not to wonder why the four-disc Music Box even exists. After all, Rhino has not only released definitive reissues of all of the Monkees' studio albums, complete with bonus tracks, but the label has a series devoted to rarities (Missing Links), a single-disc greatest hits album, a double-disc anthology, and another four-disc box, Listen to the Band, which is excellent. So where does that leave Music Box? Well, it is "reconfigured" into a booklike box, which must appeal to somebody, but more importantly, it tries to pull off a nifty trick -- providing an exhaustive overview for the casual listener, while filling in the holes for those serious fans who only have the proper reissued albums. On both counts, this works well. Let's get the basics out of the way: This sounds great, and Andrew Sandoval's liner notes are terrific, particularly the song-by-song breakdown that not only includes the Monkees' reflections, but also those of various producers and songwriters. Then, there's the song selection, which is impeccable for the first three discs, which devote a year each to 1966, 1967, and 1968, blending hits with ...

Amelia songs
$23.65 Detroit's LuPine Records issued several fine singles in the mid-'60s, tracks that featured a rougher, deeper soul sound then rival Motown Records. In truth, listening to the cuts on this interesting compilation, it is tempting to call the LuPine sound a direct mix between the hard soul of Stax and the stylish pop of Motown, and history actually bears the proof. ...
