| | Stranger Than Fiction Persona CD Stranger Than Fiction Discography of CDs
Boston's Stranger Than Fiction has been established for about four years. The band was brought together by a post-it note displayed in a music store window by Aaron Gacs (honestly he looked like he wrote it with his toes). Gary Adams answered the ad, and the rest is history! After listening to Aaron play the piano, seeing his passion for music and hearing his catchy songs, Gary knew that Aaron was going to be successful. Bassist Chris Derro was also looking for a new challenge. He had been in another band with Gary, and he was the best finger pick guitar player Gary had ever met. Chris joined Gary and Aaron, and after playing together for a few months, the trio decided to look for a guitar player. They posted an ad in a local music store and got a load of calls. The guys know it would be worth their while to be picky-they tried out about 25 guitar players before meeting Scott Farrell. He was a little nervous and said he mostly played metal, so the four musicians decided to jam. After the first two minutes of his tryout, Aaron, Chris, and Gary were totally amazed-they knew this was the guy! The band played together for a while, learning cover songs and starting to work on originals. The response they received at local clubs and parties was overwhelming: Gary's tasteful drumming combined well in a live setting with Chris's smooth bass lines, Scott's rocking guitar riffs and Aaron's powerful vocals and magical piano playing. Persona, Stranger Than Fiction's first album, could not have happened without the knowledge, patience and friendship of producer Mark McKnight. (If the band had gone anywhere else, Gary would have had to sign his house over to the studio, given the number of recording hours they put in). Mark stepped up and realized that these guys all had good ideas, and it was his job to create a sound that would do those ideas justice. Gary, Chris, Aaron and Scott hope you will listen to their CD with an open mind. The dedication, hard work, and passion these four guys exhibit and the talent and creativity they possess in these songs is both enjoyable and rewarding. They have dedicated themselves to their music, and they hope their fans will enjoy their unique style and talent. More On The Way! Stranger Than Fiction Persona Songs | 1. | Difference |

| | The Very Best Of Enya CDs (2009) With DVD
Persona songs
$21.00 Comprised of 18 tracks culled from the singer/composer's first three decades, The Very Best of Enya was pieced together by the artist herself, along with longtime collaborators Nicky and Roma Ryan. Luckily, the trio seems enamored by most of the same songs that the general public is, resulting in one of those rare "greatest-hits" collections that goes deep without depriving the listener of the essentials. With tunes like "Orinoco Flow," "Caribbean Blue," and "Book of Days" in the pot and out of the way, it's easier to appreciate hidden gems like "Cursum Perficio," "Boadicea," "Trains and Winter Rains," and "Anywhere Is." Also notable is the inclusion of "May It Be" and a previously unreleased version of "Aníron (I Desire)," both of which originally appeared on the soundtrack for the first chapter of Peter Jackson's beloved Lord of the Rings trilogy. ~ James Christopher Monger

| | Grenwich Meantime CD (2002)
Persona songs
$8.00 "When Grenwich Meantime kicks in with "Make It Rain" off the band's self-titled debut CD, it's clear this quintet is unabashedly rock 'n' roll.Forget about the increasingly wide range of niches such as emo, alternative, punk, goth and other labels used these days. Brandon McDonald sings (without yelling), Eric Torcasio and Phil Vandermost play solid lead and rhythm guitar that is not disguised behind multiple layers of distortion and overdrive, and the rhythm section of bassist Scott Von Kaenel and drummer Nick Hoffman play with the kind of expertise that draws natural comparisons to the engines that drive U2 and the "Some Girls"-era Rolling Stones. There are traces of soul and R&B ("Bourbon Street") and modern rock ("Back to Nowhere"), but Grenwich ...
