Mickey Bridges Inspiration & Reflections CD

Mickey Bridges was born with a musical gift. His father recognized Mickey's ability early on and purchased a saxophone for him. Although Mickey was exposed to several other musical instruments, he was captivated by the sound of the saxophone. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Compton, California, Mickey matriculated through music programs offered by the schools.As Mickey grew older his level of musical proficiency improved and he wanted to pursue music as a professional career. However, his mother was utterly opposed to his career choice. In her opinion the profession lacked stability. So she encouraged Mickey to pursue any other profession as a career.Mickey honored his mother's request and completed degrees in psychology and theology, it was fortunate that he also continued his musical pursuits. Throughout the years Mickey has performed with numerous Jazz, Rock & Roll, R & B and top 40 bands. However, he was never fully able to immerse himself into the music industry.In 1998 Mickey accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was saved. It was then that the Holy Spirit revealed to him that it was time to get involved in inspirational music. The time had finally come when Mickey would have the opportunity to share his gifts and talents with the world.Mickey recently released his first CD entitled "Inspiration & Reflections, which is a compilation of music at its finest. Mickey's rendition of popular songs is refreshing and uplifting. His approach is sure to stimulate and encourage even the most discriminating of musical taste.
