"The first time I heard Cheley was around four years ago at a writer's club in Nashville. I was instantly drawn to her voice. I've heard literally thousands of singers during my career as a songwriter/producer and I've heard a lot of very good singers. Every now and then however, you hear someone who REALLY makes youwant to listen to what they're saying and Cheley does that. I'm definately a fan and once you hear her, you will be too." - Reese Wilson, writer #1 single "She Can't Say I Didn't Cry" recorded by Rick Trevino, #1 single "Not On Your Love" recorded by Jeff Carson, Top 5 single "Places I've Never Been" recorded by Mark Wills, Top 10 single "It's All In Your Head" recorded by Diamond Rio as well as cuts by Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker, Clay Walker, Aaron Tippin, and Neal McCoy."There are alot of singer/songwriters who try to copy what they've heard and don't tap into what they feel. Cheley Tackett is NOT one of these people. She has a great voice and a great talent for songwriting that will kill you!" - Chris Wallin, writer "I'm Tryin'" recorded by Trace Adkins (and currently in the country Top 40), "That's What Brother's Do" recorded by Confederate Railroad, and "3 Seconds" recorded by Sammy Kershaw and Lorrie Morgan."In Nashville, they talk about a song giving you "chillbumps," and that's what happens every time I hear Cheley Tackett. It's a combination of her bluesy voice, sweet soulful ballads, uptempo swampy grooves, and disarming wry humor. I've worked with Cheley at a bunch of shows and she's always got something new, something that makes me ask, 'How come more people don't know about this woman?' For now, I'm grateful to be included in the secret."- Steve Key, writer "33, 45, 78" recorded by Kathy Mattea and host of Washington D.C.'s Red Rover Concert Series"Cheley Tackett writes songs that actually matter. An artist with a fresh approach, but with a respect for the tradition that is country music."-Michael Taylor, Director of A&R, Sony Music Australia"In a music world of marketing hype and fluff it is always refreshing to hear someone brave enough to sing a song for the song's sake. Cheley Tackett is one of those artists. Even through my ears I can feel her looking me dead straight in the eyes, and letting me in on it as if I were the only one listening. She sings from the earth, nothing watered down, all from the gut. Cheley Tackett and a song seem to be one...listen to the final cut and it will all become clear...That's when I knew it all."-Thom Bresh, Award winning Guitarist/Producer/Fan When We Knew It All Music | Category | Country Albums | | Label | cheley tackett | | Orig Year | 2001 | | CD Universe Part number | 7172546 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Aug 28, 2001 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Recording Time | 31 minutes |

| | Burl Ives Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD (1995)
When We Knew It All songs
$4.99 The Rankin/Bass animagic film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer first appeared on December 6, 1964. Since then, it has become the longest-running of all holiday TV specials (with, we hope, no end in sight). It's fitting that the grandfather of all Christmas specials features Burl Ives, still remembered warmly by millions as the voice behind the film's narrator, Sam the Snowman. Although this soundtrack bears his name, Ives appears only on a handful of songs: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "A Holly Jolly Christmas," and "Silver and Gold." The remaining vocals are handled by various cast members: "Jingle Jingle Jingle" features Stan Francis as Santa, "We're a Couple of Misfits" is sung by Billie Mae Richards (the ...
| | Hank Williams Revealed: The Unreleased Recordings CDs (2009) DGBK
When We Knew It All album
$30.79 1951 was a breakthrough year for Hank Williams. He had a string of moderate country hits already under his belt, but the release that year of his version of an old jazz age novelty tune called "Lovesick Blues" suddenly made him a big star. It also meant his touring schedule increased, but he still found time that year to slip into Nashville and pre-record shows for the Mother's Best Flour Company. These good-natured and intimate performances were cut to acetate discs and then played over the air on Nashville's WSM radio station. Brittle, disposable, and made for only a few plays, these acetates were then shelved and forgotten until they were literally rescued from the trash in the '70s by an alert WSM employee. In all, 72 of these shows survived, containing some 143 songs, and ...
| | Dolly Parton Trio CD (1987)
When We Knew It All CD music
$9.35 A classic modern country album, THE TRIO is as pretty as music gets. The ethereal harmony vocals of three of popular music's sweetest swingers, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, would be enough--their harmonies couldn't have been closer if they were triplets. ...

Each song has a different flavor and an emotional depth that decidedly gets your attention. When trying to pin down just who Erin McCabe sounds like, some come close. But in the end, the sound is all her own. It all began at the end of a summer of sitting 'round the campfire. While working at a new thought hippy camp, she learned her first guitar chord. That chord ...
| | Kentodd CD (2006)
When We Knew It All songs
$9.59 Born in southeastern Louisiana on January 29, 1974, Ken comes from a Christian family of old-time southern gospel singers and has been influenced by a variety of different styles of music. Gospel, country, jazz, zydeco, and creole have provided the foundation for the music he so loves and performs today. Around the age of three, Ken found his voice while listening to grandpa sing, watching his dad pat his foot and grin as the music drifted through the air at their small country church for an all day singing and dinner on the ground. ...
