Jef Chandler has been playing and singing for quite some time now, but this is his first solo record. His voice is smooth and he has a real knack for playing the acoustic guitar. During the mid-'90s, Chandler created a regional buzz as a member of Big Brown Bowl, a group who had strong and brotherly ties to an upstate favorite, Seconds Flat. Now, with his first solo recording, Chandler has created an impressive debut, produced by Matt Morgan, with a posse of musicians in tow from each of the aforementioned bands.
