| | Michael Merrifield Ghost Town CD Michael Merrifield Discography of CDs
About MeI was born in the Northwest and spent most of my early years in the small Washington towns of Duval and Redmond. I spent most of my life in and around Everett, Washington. six years ago I started writing songs and first recorded in my small loft studio on the river. The CDI played open mikes around town and people began asking to buy my CD - I didn't have one - so I decided to put some time and money into a professional production. This is a solo effort recorded live at Sage Studio, little detects, a very simple production. Just a honest effort on a first album. Save MoneyThis CD is available in the five dollar section of CDbaby. Five of the songs from Ghost Town album are recorded in a full production version on my new CD "Butterfly Keep". Ghost Town
$11.99 Shortly before his death from prostate cancer in 2007, Dan Fogelberg completed his final studio album, locked it in a safe deposit box, and directed his wife to release it after his passing. Long considered one of the landmark artists of the `70s smooth singer-songwriter genre, the Illinois native released very little new material in his last decade, making the classic sound contained on LOVE IN TIME all the more welcome. Full of songs that could easily sit alongside his biggest hits such as "Longer Than," "Old Lang Syne," and "Leader of the Band," the album pairs Fogelberg's ...
| | Gordon Lightfoot Complete Greatest Hits CD (2002)
Ghost Town
$10.19 Digitally remastered by Andrew Garver, Dan Hersch, and Bill Inglot.
He may be remembered by the unenlightened as a purveyor of mellow '70s AM radio hits, but Gordon Lightfoot is as fine a singer-songwriter as Canada has ever produced (no small accomplishment, considering the company), feted by no less than Bob Dylan himself. COMPLETE GREATEST HITS is as definitive a Lightfoot collection as you can get onto a single disc, and it bears out the aforementioned facts handsomely. "Early Morning Rain," one of Lightfoot's earliest hits, is a poignant evocation of lost love on a par with Merle Haggard's "Silver Wings." "If You Could Read My Mind" has enough introspective pop savvy to ...

This is a Super Audio CD playable only on Super Audio CD players.
Principally recorded live at The Louisville Palace, Louisville, Kentucky on April 29 & 30, 2002.
A key contributor to the popular upswing of bluegrass, Alison Krauss & Union Station found their stewardship enlarged even more with the explosive success of the O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? soundtrack. Now furthering the cause is LIVE, a 2-CD set that allows this gaggle of talented musicians to stretch and impress over the course of 25 songs. Recorded over 2 nights at the Louisville Palace in Kentucky, this set list is an interesting mix of old favorites, traditional fare and some fun covers.
Blessed with a shimmering voice that oftentimes is reminiscent of Dolly Parton's, Krauss' crystalline phrasing makes for goosebump inducing versions of songs like the delicate "Ghost In This House" and ...
| | John Prine CD (1971)
Ghost Town
$8.69 There were a lot of "New Dylans" knocking around at the onset of the '70s, but Prine proved to be a powerful artistic voice in his own right, with plenty of staying power. His debut is full of the songs that inspired Kris Kristoffersson to help the young Chicago songwriter score a record deal. Largely based on country/folk ...

| | Christopher Prim Number One CD (2003)
Ghost Town
$17.09 Combining a childlike playfulness with a sage sensibility, singer/songwriter Christopher Prim crafts acoustic music that treats deep themes in playful and original ways. Whether a love song (It's Spring), a song about a much-abused car (Little Four-Cylinder), or a 7 minute blues-oriented meditation (Manzanita), Prim delivers spiritual insight with a down to earth attitude, and plenty of humor. His warm baritone voice and inventive fingerstyle guitar provide a base of tasty ear-candy, into which he imbeds thoughtful, articulate lyrics, and a frequently through-the-side-door perspective that keeps listeners on their toes. Drawing from influences such as Bruce Cockburn, Stephen Stills and David Wilcox, his music combines blues, country, and rock. Prim is an accomplished poet ...
