3 album for sale Product Description
Begin with electronic grinding and sinuous E-perc; as things progress, these two aspects commence a transference that banishes any barriers between the aura and the beats. Add a guitar growl that sneers like a lizard hidden in the brush. Enter Vix's voice, rich and sultry with eerie sentiments. Trembling keyboards inject a delicate otherworldliness to this music that somehow grounds everything to familiar substance. ...See Full Description

Count To Infinity Once is Not Enough CD (2000)
3 buy CD music Count to Infinity combines several popular club/dance styles into one smashing album. Elements of trance and house music mix in the background, topped with smooth vocals and synthpop accessibility for one memorable song after another. Fans of Pet Shop Boys will find many similarities.
One fan wrote: A Different Drum always manages to put out interesting worthy cds and this is no exception. John Giacobello is CTI. Sarah Silbert's vocals on Jessica are a very nice addition. The cd is 48:54 long, so you get a respectable time on it. As for comparison, I think the petshop boys comparison is accurate in some songs. The vocals on this cd are clear and smooth, much like the Pet Shop Boys. The song "Twirl" is one of my favorites on the cd.

Nattefrost Underneath The Nightsky CD (2011)
3 album for sale A brief German female narrative begins "Translogical Movements," giving way in short order to driving synths and sequencing. A catchy melody and a steady beat follow, completing the powerful opening of Nattefrost's sophomore Groove release.
Quirky unique synths mark the beginning of "Searching for a Distant Planet," punching into the night air, though it develops into another accessible steady number.
The title track bubbles briskly along as well, light and lively. You'll be hard pressed to keep the toes from tapping and the head from bobbing. Better still is "Observing Emotions," slowing things just a shade but keeping things moving forward with irresistible rhythms and memorable melodies. A strong Jarre reference asserts itself near the end, deftly weaved in to the rest. "Winterland" exudes surprising warmth as it jumps right in, continuing the emphasis on energy along with plenty of silky smooth synth work. The playfulness and optimism keep coming with "A Different View of Jupiter," again with hints of Jean-Michel, though not as much as on the bouncy retro sounds of next couple tracks after that.
Underneath the Nightsky is just about the most fun you can have with your electronic music.

Jimmy Witherspoon Ain't Nobody's Business CD (2002)
3 buy CD music Although Arkansas shouter Jimmy Witherspoon had a long and varied career, the essential components of his style (which combined a smooth, jazz phrasing with a harder blues edge) were well in place in the late '40s when the recordings on this collection were made. Working predominately at this time with Jay McShann and his orchestra, Witherspoon brings a late-night crooner's sensibility to these jump blues numbers, making several of them his own, including his trademark two-part version of "Ain't Nobody's Business," recorded in 1949. There are many who feel that these sessions were the strongest 'Spoon ever did, but casual listeners should definitely sample his work from subsequent eras, as well, since Witherspoon was wonderfully unafraid to experiment with many different possible shadings of the blues. ~ Steve Leggett
Budget-price compilation for the late great blues singer. 25 tracks including 'Hey Mr. Landlord', 'Calm River Blues', 'Money's Getting Cheaper', 'Skid Row Blues' & 'Six Foot Two Blues'.
