Every Night When The Sun Goes In CD music
$19.98 It's a commonly held opinion among fans and band alike that Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' lone live album, 1986's Pack Up the Plantation, didn't quite capture the group at its peak, so there has been a long-standing need for another live set, which 2009's Live Anthology finally provides. Like its closest cousin, Bruce Springsteen's Live 1975-1985, Live Anthology almost overcompensates for the long wait by offering almost ...
| | The Very Best Of Enya CDs (2009) With DVD
Every Night When The Sun Goes In music CDs
$21.00 Comprised of 18 tracks culled from the singer/composer's first three decades, The Very Best of Enya was pieced together by the artist herself, along with longtime collaborators Nicky and Roma Ryan. Luckily, the trio seems enamored by most of the same songs that the general public is, resulting in one of those rare "greatest-hits" collections that goes deep without depriving the listener of the essentials. With tunes like "Orinoco Flow," "Caribbean Blue," and "Book of Days" in the pot and out of the way, it's easier to ...

| | Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas Eve And Other Stories CD (1996)
Every Night When The Sun Goes In CD music
$9.95 What would happen if members of Savatage decided to write some Christmas songs? Easy: Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This "supergroup" is the brainchild of Jon Oliva and Paul O'Neill (respectively the leader-keyboardist and the producer of Savatage). They hired Al Pitrelli (Asia, Savatage) to play guitars, Robert Kinkel to help with keyboards, John Middleton (also a member of Savatage) on bass, and Jeff Plate on drums. Lead vocals are shared by six vocalists, while some of the backing vocals are handled by Savatage lead singer Zachary Stevens. Christmas Eve and Other Stories is a concept album: all the songs are built as chapters of a book, each telling part of a larger story. The plot here is of a young angel sent down to Earth to find and bring back to the Lord "the ...

| | Buddy Mix Superman CD (2006)
Every Night When The Sun Goes In CD music
$8.69 Is it time to be discovered yet?I have a BA in music with an emphasis in voice from UCLA. During the time I was in college I signed a producer/manager contract with D’Arneil Africa Pershing and Roy Rogosin who were doing arrangements and recordings for Universal Pictures, Debbie and Pat Boone, Andy Williams, and Johnny Mathis. Around the same time I met another producer whose dad recorded the NBC theme music, Mark, who liked my voice, so we did an exchange. I recorded his song, “Be my friend” in exchange for getting my song “Superman” recorded. D’Arneil did the arrangements in exchange for recording a song he wrote called “The Song that goes La” and Roy handled the contracts for a percentage of the outcome; my career. It was a moment of magic in my life because at the time a single cost about $10,000 to record and minimum wage was $2.75. Computerized music didn’t exist and everything was recorded by live musicians. Because of our deal the only cost for me was my time.Twenty years later, in 2005, Denis Couture from Quebec, Canada picked up my educational DVD “The Singer’s Workout” being sold in the Guitar Center Stores and contacted me over the internet. At the end of my instructional DVD I have a tune called “Our Love Will Always Win” that Eric Walker did a gorilla style music video of. Eric Walker is an acting star. Eric starred in the Ewok Adventure, a George Lucas film spin-off of Star Wars, who I was giving private singing lessons to at the time. Denis e-mailed me and said he loved the song. Well it turns out Denis is a producer. I e-mailed Denis, “you know that was done a while ago. I’m not as young as the guy you saw in the video. Denis laughed and wrote back, so what, you’re great and I’m honored to work with you. Two years ago I started an on-line magazine, emodelmagazine.com with my now partner, acting star Eric Walker. (The same guy who shot the MTV style music video and editor on the instructional DVD “The Singer’s Workout”.) Warner Brothers sent Eric and I a new trailer from their up and coming release this summer of “Superman” for www.emodelmagazine.com to post. It dawned on me, “I have a song I wrote about that character!” So, I sent Denis a copy of Superman over the net and he remixed it. With the new Superman movie coming out this ...
