Since our formation three years ago, we set the goal to break the myth that Haitian Gospel music had to be boring. Of course some people might think that we are pushing the enveloppe but in this case we think we are doing the right thing, cause nowhere it is said that to worship we have to use our hands simply to clap, that all the instruments are there to glorify the "world". Just keep in mind why we like the support we are getting from the choir we are not preaching to the choir.....One of our fans sums it up best:I listened to your beautiful new CD last night and I found it amazingly different from what I heard so far. Hi, My name is Chris Surdock. I have been leading worship in San Diego, California for approximately 15 years. I've led worship at many churches over the years including, but not limited to Horizon Christian Fellowship Main Campus w/Pastor Mike MacIntosh, Horizon Christian Fellowship North County w/Pastor Bob Botsford, Horizon Christian Fellowship Soutbay w/Pastor Norlyn Kent, Horizon Christian Fellowship Park Chapel w/Pastor Rob Glickman, The Rock Church w/Pastor Miles McPhearson, Southcoast Community Church w/Pastor Steve Bombaci, Pathways Community Church w/Pastor Phil Herrington, North County Community Church w/Pastor Paul Murray, Connections Church w/Pastor Mark Miller, and many many more. Not only do I lead worship, but I speak at Worship Conferences and hold workshops to help develop worship leaders young and old. I released my first Worship Album titled "I'm so Excited" in August of 2002. The CD has been an incredible blessing to many people across the globe. More than just an extra source of income, this album has been an incredible ministry tool, taking me to Brazil, Mexico and across the United States to worship with believers. More people than I can speak of have shared stories of how God has ministered to them through this album in a very intimate way. Even though the album is 6 years old, it is still new to each person who hears it for the first time. The style that it is will never go out of style. It will remain a tool of ministry as long as it remains in circulation for the Glory of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit by which these songs were given inspiration from.I'd love to come and share my music with you.
