The Los Angeles - based Shallow Water was originally founded in 2001 by Edgar Sanchez (drums/ percussion), joined by the combined talents of James Alcantara (keybaordist/ writer), and Leif Davidsen (bassist). Shortly thereafter, the band recruited the writing and musical talents of Rob Miranda (guitarist/ writer). In February 2002 the circle was completed when lead vocalist Nicco Starr stepped into the Shallow Water limelight... Today Shallow Water finds themselves quickly developing from a local Los Angeles band into a new, nationally recognized, pop-icon "must see act!" Creating and innovating their own unique vision of modern pop rock, these young artists seem to be reinventing dance and proggressive rock with every step of their journey! Shallow Water has managed to create their own category of musical enjoyment. Label them what you will, but in any occassion you are guaranteed unforgettable melodies, and will be filled with the urge to move your mind, body, and soul! This power house ensemble is fueled by emotional, theatrical, as well as highly - trained abilities.
