| | Tracy Mack Losing My Mind CD Tracy Mack Discography of CDs
Tracy Mack began writing when she was very young, but it wasn't until 10 years ago, while teaching herself guitar, that she discovered her love of songwriting. Some of her earlier influences include Fleetwood Mac, The Charlie Daniels Band, Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, and Melissa Etheridge. After five years of writing songs, she began performing at prestigious open mics around Michigan, including The Ark in Ann Arbor.A riveting performance at The Tap Room in Ypsilanti, Michigan landed her a regular headline gig. While vacationing in LA in 1998, an open mic performance resulted in an invitation to headline at The Crooked Bar on Sunset Blvd.In 1998 Tracy assembled The Tracy Mack Band to flush-out the sweet smooth sound that had made her a local favorite.Backed by some of the best musicians in Ann Arbor, Tracy fused blues, rock and folk into a mix that travels the same roads as Chrisse Hynde, and Melissa Etheridge.Since then Tracy has played clubs and festivals throughout Michigan such as the Dearborne Music Fest, Out Fest, and Arts, Beats and Eats. She has also performed on radio shows such as the Mitch Albom show. The raw energy of the music, Tracy's guitar playing and her soulful, edgy voice have put Tracy Mack on the map.And it brings Tracy smack-dab in the middle of the spotlight, which is right where she belongs. In the late summer of 2000 Tracy released her long awaited CD, Losing My Mind. With great success she has since went back to her roots, just her and her guitar, using all of her musical influences to keep producing that unique sound, all of her own, doing what she loves best. Losing My Mind CD music
$16.24 Initially planned solely as a standard double-disc reissue in the wake of the blockbuster success of The Fame, Lady Gaga decided to release the new material as a separate EP called The Fame Monster in addition to the standard two-CD set, where it's tacked onto a now standardized version of her debut. It's a nice move for fans, plus it helps emphasize the new material, which does act as a bridge from the debut to a forthcoming full-length. Everything on The Fame Monster bears a galvanized Eurotrash finish, as evident on the heavy steel synths of "Bad Romance" and the updated ABBA revision "Alejandro," ...

| | Penny Dreadful Sanctuary CD (2001)
Losing My Mind music CDs
$9.59 The phrase Penny Dreadful comes from story papers that long ago provided an escape into another world - just like good music does for people today. There's other hidden symbolism in the Chicago band's name, too. "There are 30,000 albums that come out each year and only 30 of them really make it," says lead singer/guitarist John Gidlund. "Like discarded penny dreadfuls, they end up in a bin somewhere. It's a play on the fate that happens so often in the music business. "Or," he continues "it just sounds cool!" But when your new EP opens with a song like "Merry Andrew," a songwriter's song that has the raw energy of something that could have come off of U2's Boy, there is no way you are going to end up in a bin full of dreadfuls. Circo, Gidlund and Sutherland found a place to live within their music, forming the band in 1999. They still call this their sanctuary and through their personal lyrics and strong stage presence, they don't keep it to themselves - they invite in all who are willing to listen. Penny Dreadful's ...
