I was born in Belize City, which is in Central America.I moved with my wife to New York in 1986.I grew up in a culture where the music is mostly Soka & Reggae, but for some strange reason I found country music most appealing. In the early 1980's I worked as a part-time disc jockey at the local radio station.I learned to play guitar from a self-teaching guitar book and quickly learned to play simple and familiar folk songs.I believe God gave me the talent to write and sing for His Glory. Most of the songs on this album are original. One of the most enjoyable moments is when I am inspired to write a new song. After I became a christian in 1981, I had a desire to record a gosple album and finally God paved the way in October 2000 for me to record my first album, I am truly blessed by this. Special thanks to renowned producer and songwriter Scott Turner, who took the time to make this album a reality.I had always dreamed of doing an album in Nashville and I am truly grateful to the wonderful people who all had something to do with this project, their professionalism will not be forgotten.I am also grateful to Martha Carson who encouraged me to press on. "I have been present in recording studios many times throughout my career, but, I must tell you, one of the most enjoyable visits has to be the one I was invited to in mid October, 2000, with this young christian artist Alvin Card.Believe me, here's a name you'll long remember.I felt so much spirit of worship in each song, I could only rejoice more with each song he sang.Put his music on, sit back and enjoy every word of praise, as I will, again and again. All I could add to this would be, may God's greatest blessings go with you Alvin Card, you're one of his chosen ones, this I believe with all my heart.Keep on singing, we'll keep on listening!" $12.69 The Great Flamingo Caper of 2001 Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures. It was just after midnight on Music Row, the lights were all out, the "Suits" had long-since gone home. Only one back-room studio was filled with the sounds of a lone, singer. The final vocal tracks were being laid down, on what would be the Greatest Never-Heard "Country" song ever written. It's a sad truth, these days, that if a song has any kind of soul, or invokes any kind of emotion, the major labels won't touch it. They've once-again grown comfortable with the current trend, forgetting that even this trend was kick started by someone taking a chance, playing something different from what everyone else was doing.Sony, being one of, if not the Biggest label to take residence on Music Row, launched a promotion for the new Billy Ray Cyrus single, "Burn It Down". They put up Pink Plastic Flamingos, across the front of their building, & others were spotted on lawns up & down 16th Avenue.ZiggyDale Zigfreid stepped from behind the microphone, walked out into the brisk night air & couldn't help but notice these Pink Flamingos. Conversation soon led to "What does it take to get Noticed, in this town..?" &, "Why won't they listen..?""Burn It Down", being a song about a man who's pushed to the extreme, of burning down the trailer park he lives in, & shooting the Pink Flamingos in the front yard struck a whole different chord with those having that conversation. ZiggyDale had just finished cutting "Freebird Trailer Park" & suddenly there was a new realization, "If Sony can promote Billy Ray's song about destroying a trailer park, they can promote mine, about having fun in one!!" Without hesitation he yanked the nearest lawn ornament from the ground, "It's okay with Sony for Billy Ray to shoot these things, it must be okay for me to cut one in two...."By morning, ALL of the Flamingos were gone. The promotion wasn't over, the plastic birds had been "Taken Hostage".There was a note, left on Sony's front door, attached to the now-headless body of one of the Flamingos. The note read, "If you want the rest of your Flamingos returned, unharmed, you will listen to my music & give us Airplay". An advanced-copy of ...

$17.69 I have been in church pretty much since the day I was born. I actually tell alot of people that I was born in a pew ! I am the oldest of 3 boys, my brother’s are Michael who is a phenomenal drummer and Jonathan who is still finding what his gifts are in the Lord. My Father is Pastor Tim Oldfield of The Potter’s House Church of God in Columbus, Ohio. One of the most anointed men of God alive today, I believe. My Mother is an anointed singer and worship leader that I have learned so much from over the past 14 months. I have been leading praise and worship and singing since I was 13. I remember the service when I could hear the Lord calling me to this ministry. It was the ...
